Angel Cakes

Ordered a custom cake for our son’s 100th day celebration. Communication via email was easy. I sent a inspo pic and the cake came out beautifully and was delicious. The red velvet was moist and so yummy!

Fantastic cupcakes run by people with great values. My friend recently did a special order for a party and each cupcake was beautifully decorated and absolutely delectable. We got an assortment of flavors and they were all yummy!

This is my favorite dessert spot! Their cupcakes and cakes are amazing! Super moist, plenty of frosting, and beautiful! My favorites are the passionfruit cake and the lemon/passionfruit cupcakes. The shop is super cute, and they are easy to work with for special orders.

We ordered a mini cupcake for everyone at our wedding and they were very popular. We had several taste options, having visited and tried the different flavors.
We also got a small cake 'topper' for ourselves. They were all delicious. Consider giving this small venue your business. You won't be disappointed.
Btw, if you looking for the Angel Cakes that used to be off Tenth Street in Berkeley, you found it. They moved since our order to Oakland on 5th & Brush St.

Update: We picked up Angel cakes for our anniversary, getting there just before/at closing. The staff is extremely nice, and the display has many to choose from.

We ordered our wedding cakes from Angel Cakes and they were an absolute hit! There were so many flavors to choose from, it was tough to narrow down. We chose vegan rose cardamom and vegan earl grey cakes and cupcakes, plus a few cupcakes in each flavor that were gluten-free. It cannot be overstated that these were crowd pleasers for vegans and omnivores alike! Jen did an incredible job decorating the cakes as well - they were perfect for our spooky theme. I will absolutely buy more cake and cupcakes here any time I have an excuse.

So moist their cup cakes are and the flavor are so tasty. I tried the Vanilla, wish I’d gotten more. I love vanilla flavoring and they’re so moist (not soggy don’t get it twisted) you almost think it’s filled inside. The first one I had was caramel and chocolate and I thought the caramel was going to spill out if it. I will for sure come back.

I bought 4 cupcakes for a vendor so I never got to taste it but the selection was great and the cupcakes presented well. Wish I could try the zinfandel next time. I grabbed the last one!

We had the most beautiful custom cake from this place. Three fantastic flavors!

They’re cakes are so moist and perfectly balanced. They do lean towards the sweeter side but with their desserts I don’t mind.

Had my baby's first birthday cake and mini cupcakes from here and they were great!! Highly recommend the lemon meyer cream, chocolate salted caramel, spicy mango and hot buttered rum. All lovely and so delicious! Everyone loved them.

They have the tastiest flavors and such a wide variety so I get to try something new every time :)

If your looking for some sweets I'd definitely give Angel Cakes a bite. They have dairy and vegan recipes. They also bake custome cakes. So if your in the Oakland area looking for sweets. Angel Cakes has treats.

These cupcakes were luscious! We ordered an assortment of 100 for a recent work event, including a number of vegan/gluten free cupcakes. They were all a hit, and so very pretty. It was also a smooth transaction and they were ready on time. I could not have been happier.

This place has THE BEST cupcakes ever! We had a cake shop settled for our wedding, but had to swap to Angel Cakes after trying their cupcakes. They have the best variety of creative flavors, moist cakes, and very reasonable prices for the quality they offer. Jen is also amazing to work with and delivered a beautiful, delicious wedding cake with 40 mini cupcakes. Our guests loved it...and we're making the most of what few we have leftover :)

The old gingerbread house may not look up scale but the Cupcakes our five star , always fresh moist and the toppings are unique and diverse. I love to support and enjoy this establishment. 💜

The BEST vegan cupcakes - and to think this is not even an exclusive vegan bakery. The cupcake is moist, full of flavour and just melts in the mouth. I've loved all the flavours I've had, but Snickerdoodle is probably the top in that list.
