Nic is such a lovely dude and I’m so happy we happened upon Up the Creek on a rainy Saturday. Gorgeous shop, great selection, and fantastic service. Very very happy with today’s haul.

super cool shop, good selection of records packed in a small place. Reminds me of Rainbow Records in WC when I was a kid. I'd buy a skateboard from them but would end up with a hip fracture at my age.

Great indie record store and skate shop. Always clean, and very friendly staff. If you can’t find the record you are looking for, they are more than willing to special order it for you if it’s available.

We loved finding old and new vinyl records here at Up The Creek. A really memorable destination and shop.

Easily my favorite record store in the Bay Area. They have a great selection of records and their used records are always a great. But what I like most about this place is their staff. They are super friendly, love to talk music and they'll help you find that record...even if not in stock.

This is an excellent store with a MASSIVE selection. I spent easily an hour searching through all they had. Everything is clearly labeled, but I just had to look through it all! Every person I interacted with there was very knowledgeable and super friendly. They didn't have the one record I was looking for (The soundtrack to Heavy Metal 1981), but I did find two other records I was looking for!

If you're looking for Vinyl Records, or a new skateboard even, check these guys out. They Also have turntables and speakers if you don't have your own stuff already! One stop shop for sure.

I never write reviews but this place is fantastic and deserves all the praise. As a newbie to vinyl, I found them to be super helpful, practical, and knowledgeable. Excellent customer service and there was an adorable dog in the shop too. They have more than records. There are skateboards, books, apparel. If I hadn’t brought my kids I would have spent a lot more time browsing.

Will be back very soon!

This was an excellent record store. Employee's were friendly and helpful. Great collection of used and new vinyl. Also loved the sign they had up in support of Trans people. Me and my girlfriend will be back, likely to spend more money than we should on some records.

Clean, well lit, well organized, and easy to shop. It's a small store so don't expect an epic catalog. But each square foot is full of gems. Selections include Vinyl records, Books, Cassettes, Skateboards & accessories, home audio, and clothes. Lots of gift items. Great little store.

Great shop, local business, excellent service. Cory took the time to help my son pick out and build his first skateboard. May have been able to save a few $ purchasing online, but the knowledge and experience of the employees is priceless.

We took our niece here to pick out her first skateboard. The owner was so helpful and excited to help her build out her skateboard. They also have an amazing selection of vinyl and books. Perfect place to spend an afternoon browsing....

I'm so glad there is an alternative to larger record stores in the bay area. (I love them too, but just saying) This place has a great variety of new vinyl. Plus a nice selection of used records as well. My sons barber told us about this shop. (Thanks, Wes) As my son continues to grow his collection, he will learn the beauty of supporting his local record shop.

The guys here made shopping here an experience. I went for a skateboard, which they recently started selling in addition to their great selection of records. You could tell that they were super passionate about skating, records, and music in general, and they were really fun to talk with. Great shop!

Excellent co-op style shop for music lovers! The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The products are all top notch and made in America (if not made a few miles from there). They seem to value and support the local musicians and craftsmen more than any other place I have been. They have a small selection of used and signed records that are surprisingly high quality and include many rare albums. They also have a selection of extremely nice strats and telecasters, some with an intential worn patina that suits them well. Aside from the products, they also offer live music from local musicians quite often. The support they show for local musicians and the community is heartwarming. I strongly recommend stopping buy.

This place is a little jewel in the suburban rough. The vibe they created in this strip mall is worthy of praise. They have a unique little curated collection of things that I thought only I was into, even a veritable shrine to Blackwing pencils. The only thing was the the prices for the new vinyl seemed high. That said the record I bought ( a limited edition of a new release from the day before) was only $18, so who knows? Regardless, I will be back again.

This store is amazing! If you enjoy music (who doesn't), you MUST stop in to flip though the bins of vinyl, the racks of gear, the books, gifts, etc. You won't be disappointed to took the extra time to check out this GEM!
