Brave Coffee

This place is my new favorite! They make fresh in house made Whipped Cream!! The hot chocolate is mui CRAVABLE! They have a lady who makes all the sweets just for them and everything is so very worth the extra workout time. This time I got the white chocolate lemonade sugar cookie. Yummmmm! Everyone who works here goes out of their way to make your experience special. Love Brave!

Great coffee and people. They serve Temple coffee from Sacramento which is some of the best coffee I've ever had. The baristas and staff are very nice and good at what they do. Great place to chill or get a drink to go, remember to bring your own Klean Kanteen!

I have worked at another coffee shop downtown for several years. I can say honestly Brave is right at the top of the top coffee dogs in Chico.

In terms of flavor, consistency, cost, and availability of seating Brave is a place above most. Gentry, the owner, is kind, personable, and immensely knowledgeable. His time at Temple coffee in Sacramento made him a great barista and from what I can tell a great business owner.

I have been going here more and more the past few months and it's very quickly becoming my second spot. If you haven't tried the Bliss or the Traditional Cappuccino you're missing out.

Delicious lattes! I was drawn in by reviews of seasonal marshmallows (already lovingly sold out) and got a blackberry latte with oat milk as per the barista's recommendation. It turned out amazing; The espresso was rich and not bitter, went perfectly with the sweetness of blackberry and oat milk. There are indoor and outdoor seats available for now, it was peaceful and sunny with people chatting or studying. Perfect ambience to get out for the day.

I have been getting the enlightenment tea for the last 2 months as my morning pick up and its been wonderful each time. This morning I had one of the best I’ve had so far. I recommend this place they take there time with there drinks they make it a craft❤

Clean, excellent service, and drinks that are well made with high quality coffee. This place does a great job of meeting the clientele that would frequent a coffee shop in San Francisco or Seattle but in the awesome town of Chico! While prices are higher ($4.80 for a cappuccino) it was made The atmosphere offers comfortable seating and a great vibe inside and outside!

Businesses often struggle at this strip mall location so be sure to support this great coffee shop!

They make wonderful espresso drinks and the quality of the coffee is very good. It's very nice inside --- great for doing work or visiting with a friend. Also, the staff becomes like friends to you. They're very friendly and helpful and have a good hearts. The manager/owner is very warm and caring towards all of his patrons and remembers everybody's names.

I have been coming here pretty much every day since I moved to Chico and I honestly have nothing but good to say about Brave! They have the BEST coffee, excellent customer service, and most incredible pastries! Try their new chocolate chip cookie or walnut bar. You can thank me later! Brave Coffee is simply the best in town!!

Fantastic little coffee shop- my favorite in Chico for both amazing coffee and atmosphere! Baristas are always super friendly, good selection of pastries, and plenty of outlets for getting some work done. They use temple coffee and it is excellent!

Consistently one of the best coffee shops in town. You will find all your favorite espresso drinks, pastries, and excellent coffee from Temple Coffee Roosters. I regularly have meetingsv with friends both inside and outside, and the drive up was a life saver in the beginning of the pandemic

But what sets Brave apart is the great staff and a wonderful owner! What has me coming back, besides the coffee, is that the servers know me by name. They remember who I am and cuts off my story. And mind you, I'm not not a daily visitor; barely even in every couple of months. But the people care, and it shows in so many ways. They have my patronage for life.

I really appreciate Brave! They welcome you with a smile and have a genuine conversation with you!!! Apparently that’s hard to find here in Chico because some places the baristas are sooo judgmental and don’t even ask how you are! I have found myself after every bad experience I have at a different coffee shop I always go back to brave and I am just delighted at the amazing customer service! Also consistency is KEY! Some places in Chico have amazing coffee but I refuse to go because you never know what you’re going to get; at brave you don’t have to worry at all. (They must know what they’re doing!) all and all I am just ecstatic to have found brave! Thank you 🙏

Cool place! Love the atmosphere, the staff was very friendly and personable. My boyfriend ordered a Brazilian pour over and it was delicious! I am normally not a big coffee drinker but I will definitely be getting one next time we are in Chico 😁 best coffee I have tasted in a while!

Staff is very friendly and ice chai was on point. I could say a lot of nice things but the 5 stars should speak for itself.

The kindest people work here and the quality of the coffee is unmatched. Don't waste your money at overpriced Starbucks. The prices are very reasonable at Brave, and you can order ahead online or hit their drive-thru. One of the best small business's in Chico. A true gem!

I was in Chico for the weekend from the Bay Area and stopped into Brave. This coffee shop has a great vibe. I ordered a flat white and was pleasantly surprised that they had heavy whipping cream to give me a low carb option. I sat and began doing some work and they brought my drink to my table (the only shops I have ever been to that do this are in Europe). My flat white was exceptional! I will definitely be back every time I’m in Chico.

This shop is literally THEE BEST coffee shop ive ever been too. You can taste quality for days here. Atmosphere is super chill and modern. Gentry and his team are what everyone else should look to as an example. COME AND TRY BRAVE ASAP!!! Wow. Just WOW!

So delicious! They have something for everyone! Thanks Gentry! The woman working was great and made great suggestions for our different pallets! I got a chai late with pumpkin and it did not disappoint. The others got a Tai tea, a soft served chocolate, and the vanilla soft serve with the lavender/ earl gray. We’ll be back!

I love Brave. The whole staff is trained VERY WELL in how to properly pull shots, steam milk etc... which is very important if you're really into coffee. Family friendly (my kids love Brave), great for studying or reading a book. Super friendly and down to earth. Atmosphere is bright, clean and cool!
