I never wore hearing aids and had doubts that it was worth my time to get tested. But the entire staff and especially Greg Fitzgibbons were extremely helpful in identifying my hearing loss and proposing solutions. The hearing test was thorough and fully explained. Benefits available to me through my health insurance were fully explained along with the hearing aid product options. A very professional staff who made my introduction to hearing aids very comfortable. It was very similar to the first time I wore corrective lenses and I then realized what I wasn’t seeing without glasses. Now I know what I wasn’t hearing until I went to Hearing Science of Walnut Creek.

My visit to Hearing Science was easy and pleasant from start to finish. My hearing exam was thorough and my doctor pleasant and clear in her explanations. I was relieved to find that currently I do not need a hearing aid, but will return to this practice if and when I suspect the time may have arrived.
This facility is easy to access from anywhere in the area and right near freeway access to and from both north and south. Parking was very easy. Yay!

Friendly, professional service. This office is very busy! However, the front desk staff put me in for consideration of any cancelations, and followed through when one became available. My audiologist, Jovie Strezlecki is very knowledgeable and thorough with her explanations of various models, and with the functions and fit of the chosen pair. I am very happy adapting to my new hearing aids.

Wonderful service and follow up. I bought hearing aids at Costco and returned them because they were not very good. After meeting with Greg and being tested he recommended the hearing aids I have now. Well worth the few extra dollars that I paid compared to Costco.

I am one ofthe few that does not need a hearing aid for hearing others. While visiting my brother in Perth, Australia he said that I should go for a hearing test because I spoke too loudly. So I went to two hearing centers that confirmed that I had an issue. My insurer recommended Hearing Science and I was lucky to get Beau Campa. I got the best PHONIX. I expected issues during the trial period and was surprised that I did not have a single issue. He said that I was lucky. So I highly recommend Beau Campa the best in the west.

Great service and professional audiologist.
I have been wearing hearing aids for eight years and used another company. When I found out the other company no longer carried the Starkey brand, I began looking for another audiologist. Hearing science filled that need.
I am absolutely satisfied with their services and methodology. Pricing was very competitive and the product has been very reliable. I can’t get over the improvement for filtering and amplification from my previous hearing aids. I selected Hearing Science of Walnut Creek to get my hearing aids based on their participation as a local TruHearing provider covered by my insurance. As I already had hearing test results from my ENT doctor, a repeat test was not needed.

The audiologist, Gregory Fitzgibbons, was excellent in every way. He was very friendly, always on-time, described my device choices and programming options in easy-to-understand detail, and was very patient in responding to my questions in a manner that would be understandable by anybody, including non-techies, even though I'm pretty technical. In addition, he knew I was going to simultaneously try out some hearing aids from Costco (which doesn't accept my insurance) and that did not bother him at all. Indeed, he explained some basic differences between the hearing aid options included in my insurance plan and the hearing aid I was considering at Costco without trying to push me one way or the other.

I saw Dr. Fitzgibbons a total of four times, all of which were covered by my insurance plan - - once for the initial consultation and device choice, once after my hearing aids arrived from the manufacturer to get them fitted and instructions on their use (including the phone app), then again after using them for a couple of weeks to do real-ear measurements to tune the programming, and once more to do any fine-tuning I wanted. I was invited to come back anytime should I need more adjustments. At one of my visits, Dr. Fitzgibbons also swapped out the silicon cones to ones that fit more comfortably in my ears, at no cost. Perhaps the real-ear measurement could have been done at the second appointment to save one trip, but overall, the process was easy and convenient. I highly recommend Dr. Fitzgibbons and Hearing Science of Walnut Creek.

Hearing Science was recommended by my insurance plan. Greg Fitzgibbons was the s p ecialist who helped me. He was caring, very thorough and patient with me. My first hearing aids required several adjustments before he and I agreed they were not right for me. The second set of hearing aids worked far better for me. Throughout the process Greg took the time necessary to make sure they were the right ones for me. I wouldn't hesitate to very highly recommend Greg.

I was completely unready to admit I needed hearing aids until I had a hearing test that showed significant loss. Being not quite ready to admit I'm getting older. I went in with serious trepidation that I would be ridiculed and feeling useless. That was not the case. They went out of their way to ensure I understood that the hearing aids could be minimal. They would hardly be seen and nobody thought less of me as a human being just because I was having trouble hearing. I recommend this place and as a matter of fact, my husband will soon be joining me by getting his hearing aids here

TV and online advertisements for cheaper hearing aids cannot provide the onsite final tuning for the hearing aid...the carrot story is an excellent example of why onsite professional help is necessary.
