Better home and gardens is a well known name in the Real Estate and Mortgage industry. As a mortgage lender I have worked with many agents from this office and there service and attention to detail is top notch.

Deann J Simpson rented my husband and I a home that was unfit to live in. I'm talking a 3500 a month house that was without heat for 5 months, had a broken oven, broken fridge, spider infestation and severe mold problem that ended up with me taking a trip to the emergency room.

When she was contacted repeatedly for her assistance on repair issues, she was rude and dismissive, stating our complaints were too lengthy. We were ignored for months until we finally refused to pay rent until repairs were done.

When the landlord still refused to help us, Deann J Simpson, being the exemplary human that she is, sent us an (illegal) eviction notice.

Deann lied and this is the previous tenants purchased a home from her, when they had actually broken their lease due to uninhabitantable conditions. If she will commit fraud to rent a home, I can only speculate what she will do to sell one.

I only hope that no one else has to go through the awful experience we have had. Not only have we lost a great deal of money by renting this property, but we have suffered personal losses as well. This has been an absolute nightmare

*****Update - this company is claiming I never rented from them. Here is my lease. These people are just awful. They keep deleting my photos. My email address is bluma at gmx dot com. If you want to see photographic evidence that this company is horrible, I will gladly share them.

There are a lot of decent real estate agents in California. I really wish I had met one of those instead of this group of a**hats.
