Airplane Landing View Point

If you are an aviation enthusiast then check out this park right next to In-N-Out Restaurant and you will see up close and feel the aircraft as they are on approach to land on the LAX Runway. What an experience nothing comes close to it but maybe an Military Airshow.

LOVE this viewing area. You feel so close that you can touch them landing l. Jet wash also makes it to about ten feet above you head for some added thrill!

This iconic place is the first thing you will see when you get to LA, you can take nice pictures to remember this beautiful city

On-street parking in front of the park is permitted for up to two hours between 8am and 10pm.

ITS MAGNIFICENT AS THE PLANES FLY THROUGH UR HEAD ITS JUST SO COOL AND THE IN&OUT NEAR THERE IS EVEN BETTER THE BEST PARK IN THE WORLD

Great view of arrivals on 24L, some views of 24R visible both Northside arrivals are awesome here (quite windy though)

If you love planes then you have to go here! It is amazing to see the aircraft landing while in a beautiful park and you can grab lunch at the infamous In-N-Out Burger. 100% recommended checking it out even if you are not in love with planes because it’s awesome for anyone to see. You are right below the plane before touching down at LAX!

This is the best plane spotting are I have been to so far. It is right under 24R landing path, and there are many international flights throughout the day, and so many planes. It is great for aviation enthusiasts and good if you just want to sit and relax. Parking was surprisingly easy for how many people were in the area, and there is an In N Out right across the street.

This place is very fun for people who like airplanes a lot you can see many people take photos, videos of airplanes you can be here all the time see the airplanes that arrive and leave my son loves this place he loves Many like the planes on the other side of the airport there is another point where you can see the planes but it is not as visible as this point with trees with a very cool shade

Amazing experience to be right under approaching aircraft. During my 1 hour stay here, I encountered 3 777s, 1 A350, several 737s and a few A320s. Definitely going back to planespot the A380 and 787s.

Parking at the In N Out is difficult, but there is street parking and the nearby Ralph’s has plenty of parking space as well.

Park was empty, clean and well landscaped. Parking available on the northwest side of the park along the road. Great place to watch the planes on short approach to LAX. This would be a very cool park for kids to see, however there are busy roads along the park with little obstructions from walking out into traffic.

Didnt know about this spot till now and I'm 37 years old. You are literally right under the airplanes landing at LAX. Parking was limited but not a problem. Will be coming back again for sure but this time with some In-n-out. 😋

My favorite plane spotting place in the world!!! Directly in the line of the northern runway, almost all of the flights that swing in from the ocean land on this runway. Meaning a lot of flights from the PNW and Asia. Such a fun time!!!

This is one of my favorite places in Los Angeles. I remember every time I would visit my great Uncle Zach (a great uncle, not a great-uncle, although he is also now a great-uncle), he would take me to this park to get In-n-Out and watch the planes land. Of course, Uncle Zach would bring a salad since he doesn't eat meat and dairy products don't sit well with him, but the memories are what this place is all about. Highly recommend, come here with Uncle Zach.

This is the perfect past time if you've arrived at the airport too early for a flight or for a hotel stay. It was relaxing (and a little exciting because I love planes) sitting in the grass and watching the planes fly over and land. Also, if you're hungry, there's an In-N-Out burger behind the viewpoint.

Airplane is the miracle of engineering. Seeing its landing so closely is definitely the most enjoyable experience for an engineer like me lol

This is an amazing place to watch the airplanes land at LAX. A perfect view if them coming in right above you. Parking can be tough, as there is a very busy In & Out Burger across the street. I've parked in the parking lot of In & Out Burger and I've never been towed or ticketed, even though they do have a security guard there. There is street parking, but sometimes it's hard to get a spot. I could spend hours here watching the planes land. They also take off, but you can only see the beginning of them taking off. They get too far down the runway to really see the planes take off. Bring lawn chairs and a blanket and sit and enjoy the amazing view, and even have a picnic! It gets chilly, even in the day sometimes. The planes can create a big gust of wind as they pass over so id recommend a jacket. We always take a blanket along with our jacket or sweatshirt.

I’ve plane spotted around the country and this by far the BEST spot!!! You can get so close to the planes and it’s not incredibly inaccessible like some airports! I would totally recommend coming to both fellow av geeks, and people that just think planes are cool!

Best place to plane spot. Plus you got In n Out burger next door in case you get hungry or what a cool drink.
