Holy Grounds St. Monica.

Cozy little coffee shop with Catholic themes, which makes perfect sense given the name, location, and their mission. Love that it’s a coffee stop that gives back to the community.
I came in on a Sunday morning and there were a few people in there enjoying their breakfast. I got a warm ham and cheese croissant, a chocolate espresso scone, and a pumpkin spice latte! Perfect way to kick off the fall season. The croissant was pretty oily-probably butter, but delicious nonetheless. The scone wasn’t too sweet, but a perfect match to the sweeter spiced latte.
They have indoor seating, I saw one man sit a table with his lap dog.

Loved this coffee experience and what a brilliant way for the church to make both some revenue as well as community gathering. The coffee (particularly the frappe) was delicious and the place seems to be a lovely place to spend some time and get some work done as well.

The cafe is adorable, as are the many locals who frequent here. Today my friend and I got to hear the story of the cafe’s purpose: to provide employment and mentorship to youth who were formerly incarcerated or from the foster care system. It is a privilege to enjoy such delicious beverages and treats and contribute to this cause and community.

What a fantastic find for coffee on the residential side of Santa Monica. Just a block from Wilshire Avenue across from Reed Park. I spent several hours working here and enjoyed the speedy WiFi, friendly counter service, small Christian bookstore and beautiful coffee. They serve Urthh cafe and pastries, which are well-known in the area for their fresh and local flavors.

I can’t wait to make this my new spot for working, planning my upcoming yoga classes and meeting up with friends!

Excellent coffee. Almond croissants are to die for as are the strawberry banana smoothies.
Lots of rosaries and good Catholic books to choose from.

If you drink coffee, why not make it Holy Grounds. This coffee shop is in the parish office building of St. Monica's Catholic Church. Often, you can find the resident priests as well as visiting priests in deep theological dialogue. There are plenty of outdoor seating and clean bathrooms. They now sell tamales. They are awesome.
It's a coffee shop, a book shop and gift shop.

Urth coffee basically...{ which is hugely crowded at west Hollywood location) It is a Catholic book gift store..very pleasant quiet cafe..no pretense Great coffee. Friendly baristas.
