The Handlebar Cycling Studio

I had my first cycle class experience this week at Handlebar. The vibes are immaculate. Fun music, engaging and challenging workout, and Steve is super friendly. A someone who never does any form of cardio and definitely isn’t the definition of “highly fit,” its challenging for me to enjoy a workout class, but I was hooked after the first class!

For the past three weeks, Steve, the proprietor of Handlebar, and I have been working out with Zoom. I've despised (nearly) every second of doing it 2-3 times per week. Why? Steve challenges me, keeps me responsible, and won't allow me complain my way out of problems. In the past three weeks, I've made more physical development than I have in the more than a year that I have been attending group exercise courses. Worth the cash, without a doubt a fantastic investment. Additionally, his group exercise courses at the studio are fantastic, but it's simpler to slack off in a classroom.

Great instructor and fun music! Steve was awesome and made sure I knew how the bikes worked before class. Even the members of the class were really friendly and made me feel welcomed. I'll definitely be going back next time I'm in town.

I've been doing Zoom personal training with Steve, the owner of Handlebar for 3 weeks now. It's 2-3X a week and I've hated (almost) every minute of it. Why? Steve pushes me, he holds me accountable and doesn't let me whine my way out of things. I've seen more progress towards my physical goals in the last 3 weeks than I've seen in over a year of going to group fitness classes. Worth the money, hands down a great investment. Also his group fitness classes at the studio are bomb, but it's easier to slack when you're in a classroom setting.

All inclusive, wonderful spin studio. Steve, the owner, is incredibly welcoming to new and existing customers. Located in downtown Tacoma with many options for parking. Awesome place to spin...whether it is your 1st or 100th ride. I highly recommend!!

The Handlebar is Tacoma's most welcoming and friendly gym. I appreciate the variety of instructors, each with their own unique styles and taste in music - regardless of which class fits your schedule, you'll leave the studio with a sense of accomplishment! Nice offering of early morning weekday classes, and frequently offering class specials. So lucky to have this gym in downtown Tacoma.

Steve and all the instructors are just the best, high energy and a great attitude whenever I step in the door. Cant speak highly enough of the increase in my fitness level and overall experience everytime my wife and I are the. Well worth the monthly membership

I love the handlebar! They have a great variety of classes. Regular spin classes, spin / bootcamp classes, and cycle and abs or TRX. During the last few months they took all the steps to ensure we could continue to workout safely by sanitizing and allowing or extra space and small classes. I always felt welcome and safe during Covid times. If you are looking for great workouts with great people and good music - this is the place!

Awesome energy and motivation. I'm recovering from a knee surgery and the instructor met me at my level with the same enthusiasm and encouragement as everyone else, which felt just so dang good. Thank you for including me!

Love it at the handlebar cycling studio where it’s not hard for everybody to know you’re name ! It’s like a family no matter what time you go you’ll ride with someone you haven’t seen in awhile or even making new memories with new friendly faces to ride/sweat with! p.s. there’s also TRX/boot camp & massages !

Fun spot to get your sweat on! The only downside currently is the construction just outside the business. Support small businesses!

New machines, pay per class, no membership, parking... what's not to like?
