Parking is always available however may not bee seen right away. Self checkout never dissapoints. There's always an opening.

One grocery store greeter on December 15 2023 discriminated against me a long time nearly 50 year customer (I went there when that particular store was first opened) now disabled with mobility problems ,refusing me to bring my small step thru bike that I had shopped for years with in that store.
Edit I contacted Kroger about this under ADA issues and on December 20,2023 happily I got a phone call from them from a representative ,this issue has been corrected and they will allow me to bring my ebike into the grocery department again as a long time customer. Now I am very pleased about them caring for disabled customers

The employees at Fred Meyers on 19 and Stevens are the best I have ever seen just the best the attitudes is be kind to the customers and they will be kind to the employees

Hold your grocery lists and brace yourselves, because the Fredmayer in Tacoma is a rollercoaster of shopping shenanigans! Now, imagine a day so packed, it felt like a canned soup convention gone wild. Shoppers jockeying for cereal like it was the last box on Earth, carts engaging in epic bumper car battles – a grocery store battleground that tested even the most patient souls.

Yet, in a twist stranger than fiction, the very next day, the store resembled a scene from a post-apocalyptic movie. Shelves bereft of produce, echoing aisles, and lonely shopping carts – as if the grocery gods decided to hit pause on the supermarket saga. A retail riddle that left shoppers both perplexed and produce-less.

Enter the Checkstand Champion – a cashier so swift, items seemed to teleport from cart to bag in record time. Shoppers marveled, yet secretly fumed, realizing their carefully planned smartphone distractions were obsolete in the face of such checkout velocity.

Adding to the spectacle, the Free Sample Fanatic, a person with a knack for transforming the aisles into a culinary carnival, treating each sample station like a personal buffet. A shopping journey through Fredmayer, where crowds clash, the store transforms overnight, checkouts become racecourses, and free samples turn into a gourmet sideshow. Enter at your own risk, and remember – the grocery aisle isn't for the faint of heart!

Me and my fiance don't go in very often. But I must say, they sure do have everything or at least, close to everything. It everything was well stocked, organized and most importantly clean. Well done to all the staff and security guards. Thank you. 👏

Today it was busier than usual but that's because we are getting close to Christmas all the lines are long but it was a pleasant experience staff where in good spirits and helpful 😊

This store has an astonishing arrangement of ingredients for cooking your favorite meals, serving delicious party food, or just helping your household ways. I highly recommend this store as long as you're not in a rush, but it can be busy at times. Every time we go there, it seems as if at least one thing is on sale.

I tend to go to Fred Meyers more often than some of the other stores because they tend to get you in and out faster when there's big groups of people versus other stores in the local area... they have a very wide selection some items are a little bit overpriced but as long as you're using your Club member card or phone number when you check out it seems to kind of balance itself out over time with the gas rewards.. the staff at most of the Fred Meyers locations in my area are very friendly and eager to help customers when needed... just be sure to download the app and do sale shopping if you're on a tight budget... my wife and I find that Fridays are the best day to do your bigger shopping trips due to the four times I believe it is gas rewards as well as most of their sales are either on a Friday and sometimes midweek but mostly on a Friday..

The staff are a joy to shop around and are excellent in customer service. I feel at home at this store. It deserves recognition.

While there are fewer checkout stands open than there were a few years ago, they have added an assistant for bagging at each one. They are usually pretty quick, although self checkout will probably be faster for smaller orders generally. The self checkout seems to have been streamlined, too. I used to need a clerk to assist me several times each time. Lately, it has never been more than once.

Recently the store has felt more inviting and the produce section is organized! Rebecca L helped me find what I needed in a timely manner. I will be returning to this store location as it has been nothing but good experiences!

Had the best customer service experience I’ve had in a very long time going to the grocery store, theres a gentleman who works in the seafood department who was very kind, informational and over all had great customer service you can tell he likes what he does, he treated other customers he came in contact with the same service. I didn’t catch his name or I would give him a shout out! But he was working last night between 4p-5p is when I was there.

Nice clean. Well-organized and well-stocked store.
