City of Santa Monica

Even if you have no business to conduct here, it is worth a stop just to see the gorgeous Art Deco era building. It reflects the heyday of Santa Monica and the city has done a great job maintaining the integrity of the structure. (The ducks in the pond make for a fun visit on a dog walk too.)

Danielle in building and safety emailed out my much needed property transfer documents a few days early, so that my escrow will close on time. She is the very best. Great hard working dedicated people working in that very busy SM City office.

I visited the Santa Monica City Clerk to file my paperwork for my passport. The process was quick and stress-free. There was no line, and I was in and out in less than 30 minutes.

Visited to obtain the limited edition Expo Line TAP cards Santa Monica had commissioned. Clerk was knowledgeable and well mannered even though the line was almost out the door!

Everyone was professional and helpful whenI was getting a passport. The building was gorgeous with lovely with Art Deco elements.

It's simple looking building. The attraction is the fountains in the front.
