Santa Monica Place

My very first time going to this mall and it was great! Walked around and got to take pics with the Christmas tree. It was not that crowded when I went. I love how this place is uniquely designed :)

This is a good option to go before or after the beach, here you will find many good places to eat also you can find public restrooms here. The famous pier is near (about 10 minutes walking).

Gorgeous during the holidays & well designed to navigate with most restaurants on third floor. Near the Santa Monica Pier & Third Street Promenade.

Open air concourse three levels with escalators. High end stores and restaurants. Busy but doesn’t seem crowded.

Nice trendy mall with an open ocean air feel!
I liked the enclosed mall as it was before and normally prefer the traditional mall, though here by the ocean, the cool air that the Santa Monica waterfront is known for is a plus for warm weather shopping.
Top of the line shops are an additional attraction for international visitors, as is the awesome outdoor views from the top of the roof dining area!
Parking is free for the first hour and a half, then a low hourly charge afterward! I like the innovative indicators showing the amount of available spaces on the outside, as well as the green and red lights shown from the ceiling beside the individual spaces on the inside!

For me this place is five because of what it offers... Open air mall yet it provides enough shade from the sun and protection from the rain... There is an attached parking garage... In Santa Monica public garages are free for the first 90 minutes so it's very convenient as well... Decent choice of stores and a few chain restaurants... And you are in the heart of Santa Monica...

Pity that many stores are closed down but still a lot of activities going on

I recommend to visit over busy time like weekends have more opportunities for food and drinks, maybe street musics as well.

Fun outdoor mall. The kids museum is awesome, plenty to do.

Took the family for a day of shopping and a nice lunch. Nothing like a day in sunny California surrounded by loved ones. Totally blessed. Plus I got my steps in just walking around

This is a huge amazing place full of open spaces and cool outdoor furniture, easy to access to all stores from different parking areas and levels.. by far my favorite Mall in LA 😀

Lovely open air, Mall, just a few blocks from the beach. Reminds me of Carmel but a So-cal version. Great selection of stores and easy parking.

Cute outdoor mall. Due to COVID, you need to make an appointment to get in for some luxury boutiques such as LV and HUGO BOSS. Otherwise they will put you on a wait list. But while waiting you have so many other things to see! The street performance were really fun to watch. So lively, but peaceful.

Nice clean beach, plenty of parking on the beach or even like a block off the beach. It does get pretty crowded on the weekends (specially w/out covid) so make sure you get "your spot".

An iconic visit. Not sure if i should've expected something different. Full of street artist on the pier and homeless people before entering the pier. Public parking close by.

The last time I’ve been to this mall was when it was first established. Even though, I’ve drove by many times, I forgot what the inside consist of. I had no idea there was an LV store inside. I knew there was a Louis Vuittion store in Santa Monica, I just didn’t realize it was inside this mall. Among other name brand stores. Anyhow, very small mall compared to others. The food court is small as well, not much of a food court if you ask me. There was a few stores closed. I am not sure if it is due to the pandemic or because it was on a Monday and businesses were closed.

We'll be back with more $$$. Had a great time. Wish the sun was out more but still got to walk around allot. There is food on every inch of this place. It's more of what your want. How shoes. No great shoes are required to walk the miles you will walk. Bring sandles. Power pack for your phone to charge after all the pictures.
