Baked with love! Broadway Baker has been my favorite local bakery for years now. I love shipping treats to friends and family for any occasion. The packaging is always so thoughtful and simple. And the baked goods are beyond delicious! The outrageous brownie with a cup of coffee is my absolute favorite! Thanks for sharing your love of baking with us, Jim and Broadway Baker Team!

I first encountered their cookies at another local cafe. I bought a couple bags of cookies(cranberry pecan and chocolate) and fell in love with them. I looked up the bakery and placed an order through their website and got a response very quickly. Email order and pick up process was very easy. The store is very cute and lovely. The staff was very friendly. Packaging was so pretty too!
Price is a little more than how much I would usually spend on cookies but I think they are worth it. They are good treat-myself cookies and would be a great gift too.
I got cranberry pecan shortbread and cinnamon pear shortbread this time and plan to try their other cookies in the future.

I’ve been going to Jim’s fine establishment for years and he never disappoints! You can’t go wrong with any selection!

I’ve had the following:

- The cupcakes (all flavors) are moist and delicious!
- Rugelach (again, all flavors)
- Scones
- Brownies (you HAVE to try the salted caramel brownie)
- dark chocolate espresso wafers

I appreciate that he sources from the Santa Monica farmers market and supports the farmers! The seasonal fruit he adds to the pastries are delightful!

We've ordered a couple of 6" birthday cakes recently. The first was their signature cake. The second was a 4 layer chocolate cake with their caramel topping in the center. Among our favorite cakes of all time, and the cakes were delivered to us in Santa Monica with no delivery charge. Many thanks, Jim [the baker].

The best cinnamon bun I’ve ever had (dare I say). They only have them on some days, I believe only Fridays and Saturdays. But they’re so good!

I cannot speak highly enough of Broadway Baker. The owners are amazing and talented and give incredible customer and personal service. Everything about the product is magnificent, from the delicious and irresistible baked goods to the beautiful packaging. I have sent the gift boxes out to friends and they always absolutely love them! They have gluten free options too which is awesome. AND they give a percentage of their proceeds to charity - how cool is that? Try the Grandma's Mix-Up Bars (my personal fave) - you won't regret it! And one more thing - I received a freshly baked brownie in the mail for my birthday. These guys are rock stars!! Love love love xxx

After reading positive reviews online, I chose Broadway Baker for my son’s graduation party. Placing an order was a simple phone call. I also received a follow up email from Jim. When we picked up the order, everyone was friendly and the bakery was adorable. The staff included an UCLA banner and incorporated UCLA colors. I ordered chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry cupcakes. They all were delicious with moist, light cake balanced perfectly with the icing. However, the strawberry was exceptional with vanilla cake, strawberry icing, and a dollop of strawberry jam in the center. I would highly recommend Broadway Baker to anyone.

Amazing bakery!! Best treats in the area. I’m very picky, but everything from this place is incredible. My favorite are the cupcakes with the phenomenal strawberry frosting, though literally everything else is a close second. My husband and I stop by often and it never disappoints.

Incredible small bakery. Very inviting. This is a very tasty, cheerfully uplifting treats shop. Give them a visit. My favorite is the Grandma's mix bar. So delicious!
The customer service here is excellent and there are always new treats to try. They are pricey but if you want to spoil yourself or your loved ones, this is the place to order from!

Broadway Baker treats are made and packaged with such love. You can see it in the presentation and you can taste it in every bite. They are my favorite go to if I need to send a business or holiday gift - and the feedback from the recipients has always been amazing! Personally, I love their gluten-free cookies and chocolate pecan macaroons. I'm careful about what ingredients I eat - and all of their baked goods pass my test - they are made with organic and local ingredients - and they are delicious!!

I accidentally fell into the shop. Innocently. OMG!!! His things are so completely delicious. I'd go every morning if it were in walking distance. He is also a very nice man to buy from. Great place

Love this new bakery in Santa Monica! When you first walk in you smell the amazing baked goods cooking in the oven. They have an open concept space so you can see the kitchen and the baking process right in front of you, which I thought was really cool. The owner/founder Jim greeted me with a warm smile and was so friendly and kind!

I came here yesterday and had a delicious vegan carrot pecan muffin, and I picked up some of the lemon raspberry shortbread cookies, grandma’s mix-up bars and mom’s granola’ from the shelf. Everything was so great I had to come back the next day. Today I got a Caffe Luxxe coffee and a delicious blueberry scone with some kind of lemon drizzle— it was to die for!! I love how everything is made in small batches with top quality ingredients, you can really taste the difference. They even carry small gifts made by other local artisans on the shelves. This is definitely my new go-to spot!

Scrumptious! Last week I pre-ordered a variety of items and each was so delicious! I pre-ordered again for the upcoming Holiday weekend and I cannot wait! Ordered some cookies for Mother’s Day and it was a huge hit. Delivered to our doorstep, the packaging was simple but elegant and had a nice message from the owners. Ordered the chocolate chip macaroons, cinnamon pear shortbread and the lemon raspberry shortbread- all of which were huge hits in our household. Will definitely order from them again as gifts for others and for myself!

I went to visit Jim for the first time since quarantine to treat myself to some of his delicious goodies (peanut butter and jelly cookies, carrot and pecan vegan cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and, of course, Oprah’s favorite sea salted caramel brownies). Amazing! He only uses fresh natural ingredients, no junk, and you taste the difference immediately. The shop is set up perfectly to walk in and purchase your items, and I felt very safe. You can also preorder. Go visit and see for yourself!

No matter what kind of day you’re having, this place will make it better! Asaf are so nice! I met the owner when I went there and he was so friendly, we had a whole conversation about how we’re both from New York. I have been doing a little bit of a cupcake tour (on my 5th spot) and this is a tie for number one- honestly may be the best but I have to do a side by side (excuses to come back haha). I love this place and I love the people!!
