They came to pickup all my junk. I am very happy with the services. this companies tech came out same day and took care of all the junk I needed gone. I was very impressed with the services

Great venue for our xmas party! Can't beat it.

The drivers/operators are generally decent and deserve a 4.5 out of 5 stars. That’s why I added a 2 star review.

The reason for such a low rating is because of the annoyance of the trucks and also pickup days.
• Compared to other nearby trash removal companies trucks, the city of Santa Monica’s are far louder, more annoying and more smellier (yes I know it’s a ton of trash but other agencies have the smell under control generally).

• Instead of picking up the trash and then moving onto the next one and spending maybe 6 minutes at most on 1 street or alley, they sit there for 5-10 minutes picking up and slamming down each trash cans/bins. And sometimes it goes on for at least half the day.

• All of the trucks seem like they need better servicing. Brakes also sounds awful.

I have been waiting on hold for 28 minutes and it said I was 5th in the cue 25 minutes ago. I am still 5th in the cue. Santa Monica sewer, water and street cleaning fees are very high and they should provide better customer service. During the lockdown in 2020 there was no street cleaning for months and no enforcement of preferential parking, yet we were still charge full water and trash bills along with a 25% increase in water and sewer charges every year. It says you can contact them on their website, but only to rent their bins, not to ask for for green bins which is what they are encouraging for zero waste. I left a message yesterday and still have not heard back. . Santa Monica is a city with highly paid executives and very little service to the residents who are paying for water and trash. These fees are not passed on to renters.

I didn't call 311, I called recycling/trash collection. Instead of going to the # I called, I got a repetitive message from some old lady.
