Pozzetto Italian Dining

Great little Italian restaurant. Food was very good. Pasta was cooked well. They had a good robust sauce. The veggies were a nice balance to the meal. We stopped in after traveling and were delighted to find good authentic Italian food at an affordable price range. Portions were decent and food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. I would recommend this place- even my husband, who's dad is from Italy- said it was good.

As a vegan, they had INCREDIBLE options! I came here with a work group and talked to the owner about me and my partner being vegan. He told me not to worry and that he would bring out some dishes for us. From the bread, to the fried zucchini, to the mushroom ravioli - everything was delicious! I was shocked at the texture of the ravioli and thought there was cheese inside so I double checked with the owner and he assured me it was completely vegan! They were so friendly and accommodating and I highly recommend to any vegans/vegetarians looking for an authentic Italian experience!

Love the place , chill and cozy . Good food and nice service with reasonable prices. It’s a good place to have a shot after work . PS:the must try the dessert !

Walked in to order pizza and was surprised by how elegant and quaint this place is! The cheesy garlic bread was fresh and the bread was amazing!! I ordered a pizza with my favs pepperoni, sausage, black olives and mushrooms. The crust and the toppings were perfect! The anti pasta salad was enough for 2 people so we shared it. He got the calzone with pepperoni and sausage and it was enough for 3 people!! So delicious and soft and baked just right! The owner and his wife were hilarious!! Love the atmosphere and the jokes they tell. We definitely will be back, thanks for a great dinner! Forgot to mention my friend had never had tiramisu so we ordered it and he couldn't believe how wonderful it was! I've had it before and I do have to say it was the best I've ever tried!

This is my new favorite Italian restaurant! The food was so good, I got a pasta dish and there was so much meat and other toppings in the dish, not just a bunch of pasta like a lot of places will do. The service was great, everyone there is so nice and welcoming. Also, so many options on the menu, it was hard to choose since everything sounded so good. And the tomato basil soup was so creamy, great for a cold day.

If you want amazing Italian food with extraordinary service, this is the place to go! The food is delicious and everything I have ever ordered has been exceptional. The service is outstanding and they go above and beyond by making you feel welcome and at home. Thank you Jack for providing excellent service and a friendly presence where we felt like family. I look forward to coming in and dining with you again!

My wife and I went here for the first time Monday night 03/18/24. This place has the best pasta I have ever had at a restaurant, simply amazing! For an appetizer we had the bruschetta. This has to be the best bruschetta I have ever had, hands down. It was very crispy, not under cooked or overcooked, with balsamic vinegar and oil, topped with the freshest and firmest tomato's. Highly recommend. For drinks we had a glass of chianti and ice tea, the chianti was the best I have ever tasted. For the main dinner entrees we had spaghetti and meatballs (marinara sauce, not meat sauce), and the half and half, which consists of spaghetti with marinara sauce and ravioli. There has never been an italian restaurant I have ever been to, that cooks spaghetti noodles correctly. The noodles were firm, not mushy, and not hard. It's difficult to make noodles like this, we cook them at home to be firm but not hard, but I have never been to a restaurant that properly cooks their noodles like this. Just outstanding! The spaghetti sauce was also amazing, lots of flavor, not runny, and not too thick. The owner told us he cooks the spaghetti sauce for 4 hours. The meatballs were not under cooked or overcooked, with an explosion of flavor in your mouth. The cheese in the ravioli was to die for, just like the cheese my mother used to make in her authentic Italian manicotti. All the ingredients were fresh, including all the vegetables and side salad we had with our meal. At the end of our dinner, the owner of the restaurant brought us a special of his own making: Tuscany chicken pasta. Very nice guy, you can tell he is passionate about the work that he does. My wife was "full", but she could not get enough of the Tuscany chicken pasta he made for us. The sauce was creamy, full of flavor, and the chicken was divine: not too soft, not hard, just right. All the food we had was of exceptional quality: fresh, perfectly cooked, and chalked full of flavor. The owner recommends visiting during the week, not the weekend. It gets very busy on the weekend, and I could see that the restaurant is quaint and quite small.

The atmosphere was perfect. We had a booth right in front of the restaurant window. It was not loud or crowded when we went, and I really appreciated all the dark colors used in the decor. The bathroom was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Everything at our table was very clean. A clean table is a big deal to me, and this place did not disappoint. All the dishes, silverware, and glasses were also clean. Sadly, at most restaurants, we have to ask for a clean something or other, but we did not have that problem here on Monday night.

I hardly ever write reviews for anything, but this guy deserves it, his service was very personable and extremely friendly. I love to see anyone who is passionate about what they do, and he definitely fits the bill. That is probably why his restaurant and food is way above average. The experience was so exceptional, I felt like I was on one of those food traveling shows, being catered to like Feed Phil.

Highly recommend!! Attentive and friendly staff even tho they are a bit short staffed you won’t be left alone, very hospitable. Will be coming back, especially for their fresh garlic bread, penne vodka and in-house lasagna! Also saw many order pizzas here and for takeout, will have to try that next time, thank you for your great service guys :)

Pozzetto Italian Dining is the spot! Jack, the owner is so amazing. Today was the first time meeting him and it feels as if I've known him for many years. He is so kind and respectful. Our visit to Pozzetto Italian was unforgettable; the food is amazing, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the service is outstanding. We started off with the Minestrone soup followed by some brochetta (Amazing). We tried several entrées and all were delicious. Our favorite so far, Viva Italian and Pozzetto Lasagna. The garlic bread is so soft and fresh! And you must try the tarimisu. Jack is so knowledgeable with his wine collection and his food. Recipes are made in house and food taste authentic and homemade. 10 out of 10 and will recommend to others. We will continue to dine at Pozzetto Italian Dining. Thanks Jack!

I really don't know where to begin.. From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted with a smile and attention that you would normally only get from a 5-star restaurant. I didn't take a photo of the food (will next visit) but I did get the homemade Tirimsu. What is going on, I said. The owner just laughed and said 'see told you, You never had Tirimsu like that'. I'm gonna going to be back a lot more times. I'll do a repost as it goes. Best Italian food I've ever had.

Very clean atmosphere, patrons and workers are very courteous. The food is good, Carlos the chef is awesome, the owners are very nice and the workers all in the back are amazing. Prices are fair, stop by every other month, definitely recommend , you won't regret it 👍🏻

When my family and I moved to La Verne, this was the first restaurant we went to… We eat here at least 2-3 a month…my go to dish is the “Penne Vodka” so good. The owner and staff are always so nice…. The food is so delicious….

I love this place. The food is always on point. Great wine selection and very kind and friendly. Yes I gave 4 to the atmosphere only because it’s just real small but the music is perfect and the front patio delightful for those gorgeous fall evenings. Remember, support local!!!!

My husband, brother in law, and I went to this restaurant tonight and we had a great time. Our brother in law has been here before so it was me and my husband's first time here. The pasta dishes were so delicious and the pizza was even more amazing, especially the crust! To top it off, the service overall was excellent! 100% recommend this place!

This place is great, the food is made fresh to order. Nothing is over cooked. There salad is cut daily and never packaged.

This restaurant is underrated! It is a fine small Italian restaurant with excellent authentic Italian pasta dishes. It’s is fresh, savory and deeelishes!
