Anchor Church Tacoma

I’ve been attending this church for over 4 and a half years. When I moved to Tacoma, I had a list of churches I wanted to check out. I came here first, and within minutes of walking in felt at home thanks to the kindness of everyone and the great biblical teaching. This is a truly welcoming, real, loving, genuine community that is open to any and all, regardless of background or belief. I’m so thankful to have found them.

Great brand new church!!!! Friendly people, awesome music, quality kids programs, and very relevant teaching.

My family and I have enjoyed attending Anchor for the past 9 months. It is one of the most incredible churches we’ve ever come across. With an authentic heart to serve each individual and empower him or her to love their world, the Anchor team leads with humility, integrity, creativity, and honesty.

Anchor is a place where you can belong before you believe. It is a welcoming community of people who have a desire to make Tacoma and surrounding towns better. We have been impressed with the authenticity of the leaders. No judgement. Just truth from God's word..after all, "We are all learning here". This is a great church. Bring your kids. Coffee and friendliness are free!

So I grew up going to church but then I joined the army and haven't been to church since I was about 15 I'm 20 now and I've noticed I'm not a good place and was wandering if this a good place to go. Any thoughts would be appreciated

Open and inviting church with great groups. Come be part of the community.

Walking into the church I breathed a sigh of relief! It felt like home and I knew I didn't need to find another church. I love that the community is so genuine!
