Super Domestic Coffee

I came here to kill a few hours reading on a Monday morning and was really happy with my decision. I had the most delicious and unique pastry — a spam and kimchi croissant. So good! I started with a hot coffee and a few hours later, ordered an iced matcha and a kouign amann. The inside is a bit busy and cramped but there are several tables and benches for visitors to get comfy. I can’t wait to visit again next time I’m in Culver!

Super cute coffee spot with very friendly workers. Came here for an afternoon matcha with a friend, and they had three different kinds of matcha powder which I liked. They customized the sugar level and also were excited to take a Polaroid of my friend’s dog to put on their wall of furry friends. They have some merch for sale and there appears to be a cycling community that patronizes the cafe. There’s no seating available so it’s primarily a takeout spot. Metered street parking available. No public restrooms. They do have food but the kitchen was closed when we were there, so we were unable to partake. They have oat milk.

Vanilla Bourbon Latte was really good especially after doing Baldwin Hil repeats on the bike.

Great coffee shop

Cool spot to grab coffee or a breakfast item. They have outdoor seating which is a plus during this time. I got a cold brew which is really good and has a bold flavor. They were out of decaf coffee which is kind of a bummer because my wife only drinks decaf. So I ended up getting her a Iced latte with almond milk. This is definitely a spot I'll have to check out again. Their breakfast burrito is amazing and they have a green creamy cilantro sauce that goes with it.

Interesting place! The staff here are friendly even with a line out the door! I ordered an Ethiopian pour-over… I’d come back again for that, and to try what else they’ve got. While waiting in line they have some cool merchandise to look at and ponder. On the shelves you’ll notice plants that have been given names. Lol.

Annnnd cant forget the dog wall. They have a wall covered in Polaroids of dogs that have visited the coffee shop! Made the wait time go by quickly. :p

Amazing staple coffee shop in the neighborhood. Good drinks for espresso and matcha and the baristas are always kind and welcoming. If you get Caro, you’re in good hands!

No need to fact-check me on this because I'm 100% right, but breakfast food is the greatest food.

Covid safety
I'm kind of stickler with this topic, but Super Domestic does a great job with safety. The line has markers to encourage social distancing, hand sanitizer by the coffee station, and staff all wear masks. No issues here.

Food
I got the Rico Suave breakfast burrito and a matcha iced tea (see picture). What a treat. A great way to start a weekend after a long work week. The burrito is just salty enough and substantial enough to make you full. You get a nice contrast in textures between the eggs, soft hash browns, and crispy bacon. The sauces that come with the burrito don't disappoint; they're fresh and add a good flavor. The matcha iced tea is nice and refreshing, not too earthy. These items were recommended by the barista and I'm glad I went with them.

Price
Price was very fair. It's about what you'd expect.

Atmosphere
The bike accessories, clothes, water bottles are cool. Good things to look at while you're in line. The place is compact and there's seating outside for eating or waiting.

Staff
Knowledgeable and easygoing. I trusted the food and drink recommendations.

Wait time
My tea took maybe 5-7 minutes and the burrito took 20-25. Not really an issue for me, but good to know if you're in a rush. You can tell that the burrito is fresh, which is why it takes some time. I'd say it's worth the wait.

I personally have not been here but last year I had by far the bestest eggnog in the whole wide world! I would love some more please🙏

This coffee is delicious! I got an oat milk cappuccino. The flavor was dark and caramel-y, but really balanced and smooth. If you like Illy coffee, Blue Bottle Coffee, or most coffee in Europe, you will probably like this.

Charming new addition to the local coffee shops in the Culver City neighborhood. The menu is simple and easy to follow, with the goal of customizing exactly to your liking.

They also have oat milk (made in-house) and almond milk as dairy substitutes. Besides the coffee x cyclery aspect, they also feature the occasional food truck parked beside their establishment. Most recent one served breakfast and crepes.

Knowledgeable baristas. They had a coffee and mushroom thing going that was amazing. Snagged a cornflake cookie and basically the morning was 👌.

I'll be back. Small little spot but it has passionate employees, a cool vibe (bikes x coffee), sweet gear/merch for sale.

I love this place the coffee is amazing. I would be delighted if you guys would start serving an option of half a bagel for half the price. Half is enough and I’d buy it every time. I mean- every Friday/sat/sun when your bagels are available. 🙂

Great tasting lattes here! They're known for the bourbon latte, but I opted for a vanilla w/ oat.

Excellent culver city hole in the wall coffee shop. They know their regulars! One thing is in the morning the wait can be super long, but they are friendly and are doing their best with the huge volume of customers. I've liked every drink I've ever gotten and they serve rooster truck breakfast burritos too! 10/10 recommend, better coffee than Go Get Em (which is a very popular LA spot across the street).

This is the place to go in Culver City for the morning coffee vibes. My cappuccino was done really well. Latte art on point.

I only had a mocha here, but it tasted fantastic. They have a unique variety of plant milks. I tried the mocha with Miracle Mylk. They only offer one size. I was hoping for a large size, but I guess the smaller size ensures great flavor.

I'm willing to go back and try more of what they have in their menu.

The pastries are fresh and pair perfectly with their coffee. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients.
