Smart & Final Extra!

Awesome store!! I usually go to the one downtown or even the one on Beverly Blvd because they are closer to where I live but I like this one so much better it's going to be my go to store now. Great prices and bigger selection than any one that I've been to.

No telephone # asked, no points earned, no buy one get 10 free, no rewards, no purposely confusing price tags absolutely zero gimmicks, no nothing, no BS in general just plain low prices, clean, well stocked store with courteous and fast service. Better than Costco if you’re done with your electronics, furniture and clothing needs. No membership fees but don’t take my word for granted, just visit the store and pass the word to others, we definitely need to patronize this place and help our local economy as well.

All five stars are for Shay the cashier. She is fantastic and even trains others to be great. If you get in her line you will be out the door before everyone else with a smile on your face. After a tough day of work she makes everything better and everyone knows it. Otherwise the prices are really good but the produce can be suspect. You can find some amazing deals in the meat section and stockers will be helpful if it looks like things are out.

Best shopping experience since the virus madness began. The line outside moved quickly, the inside was normal not over-regulated, free-flowing. Great prices, no price gouging here!! Plexiglass to protect the checker. I will return.

I went this store at 10:30 at night. I had called earlier and a very nice women graciously helped to me to find out if they had certain items, she even gave me details and prices! The woman and the man I dealt with were more than awesome, helping me find things once I was there (maybe they were happy as they were leaving shortly! :) Just a great experience which I was not expecting. I wish I had gotten their names. Thank you!

This was my first visit to this particular store and I didn't know where a lot of items were. I was doing personal shopping for a customer through Instacart so I was under a time constraint. Every staff-member I asked for assistance went out of his or her way to help me. I mean, I needed a ladder brought for items pushed back on the top shelves (I'm tall and reached all that I could); I needed advise on whether I should purchase bags for my customer. Any help I needed was delivered with a, "No problem" and a smile. Even the customers were helpful! It was an enjoyable experience and I look forward to shopping there again soon!

Best prices in my hood. Easy in, easy out. I shop almost daily because I walk everywhere, only carry a bag a day or so. Never got the virus and now fully vaxed.

I usually go here when I can't find stuff at the Smart and Final on Pico just west of Sepulveda. It's bigger and the employees are just as nice and helpful. Wish they could get the bulk coconut water I liked again.

I have been coming to this S&F for over 10 years and never wrote a review, Is always good to come to this location because they are very organized, clean ,friendly and most of the time I can find everything I’m looking for but today the register clerk name Yoena boost the service with a perfect customer service so she needs 10 starts , Thank you Yoena !

Eric and Aleda went above and beyond while I was shopping here the other day even with everything going on. They honestly both seemed like very competent and capable individuals. I will be coming back purely because I feel like they actually cared.

My girl opted to pop by this Smart and F EXTRA location on a Friday night because we are WINNING at spending the last days of summer being as socially adventurous as our bodies and budgets allow amid this year that is our collective crucible. Halcyon days, meet halogen bulbs in bulk restaurant sized packs! And thats about as punny as I can really get in crafting a Smart and Final review, but that aside - wow. As in -but on to my review, "wow." As in: wow - I should clarify that I had a particular expectation entering Smart and F EXTRA regarding the size of and selection of groceries that would be available and I should clarify further that the expectation I had as to these specifics doesnt seem to have a particularly logical or comparable basis... Hm. But anyway, I thought smart and final EXTRA stores were like... Like the mini versions of smart and finals. Like the quick-e-mart version of the original. Like -on one hand you got your standard, normal sized Smart and F; - but also, as an extra -there is your "Smart and F EXTRA"stores. And because there's a big "EXTRA" addition to the name... "Extra" must equal "smaller distinctive version of the standard sized model." My partner is shaking her head at this notion and saying, "no, no that's totally not what EXTRA MEANS..." And I get that she isn't feeling me on this, but right? EXTRA is scrawled a bit graffiti style, like, "this is a Smart and F store but its just like an extra pop-up trunk sale version and we just tagged "extra" on the logo so folks ...loyal folks recognize us." That's the way I've read the Smart and Final EXTRA stores for my whole life anyway. But I was wrong. I was wrong, I was shocked, I was confused, I was maybe delighted? And the point is I was happily ... Wrong. And hence, EXTRA. it makes sense doesnt it? Extra means plus. Smart and F EXTRA Is your regular plus a bit more something.... Yes. I guess. Still reading? 👍🌕😊 Glad you're still with me cause most of my friends have walked off... Bye bye friends. They were just extra I guess. A splurge. A splurge too pricey for me these days cause covid and the like, Ooof. Zoom. Where was i...? Anyway this location is all "extra" inside and tho a wee bit on the sketchy side as far as the parking lot situation at night is concerned (why are those power lines right there and why are they humming something serious and the lighting makes me feel like were maybe dead and trapped in a ghost dimension...)but so yeah INSIDE THE STORE: its all glam and savings and hip checkout clerks otherwise. Well stocked save for two liter bottles of my fav, Diet Mountain Dew. (Our clerk also had awesome tattoos and was super nice and helpful... The staff here is generally rad). We left with 64 granola bars, (63 of which I have yet to consume) -which is a "smart" snack to have in excess should the world implode more. Probably it will. Final answer. S and F E! Boom. That's all I got. No... No I got more, I got trivia. Fun fact: Did you know "smart" can aslo mean "well dressed"... Or "a sharp stinging burn?" Maybe that's just smarting... But hey "the more you know ..." Sigh. 2020.

great prices, bigger quantities, not as packed as costco, no need to pay and extra 55 a year. beats costco every day of the year. good produce.
also soft drinks are cheap there, every thing is cheap there .....

Excelent ,i love the coustmer Service, close to home ,little expensive but is worth it,you Will fined almost every things.
Some times the fruites and vegetales not to fresh but i have no choice to but to puresches it, they do have a Good deal some times.
