I've been a loyal customer of this grocery store for years, and it never fails to impress me. The quality of their products is outstanding, and I'm always confident that I'm getting the best ingredients for my family. Small but mighty! Had every spice and grain I needed. Many I had not heard of prior to buying the Dishoom cookbook. And very friendly service.

If you live around Culver City area this is the spot to go for Indian grocery. Dont judge the place by how it looks from outside. They have all essentials things used in the Indian kitchen. Owner is quite friendly and if you have any complaints about any products convey it to the owner.

Good place to get Indian groceries for a reasonable price. We go here occasionally to get Indian groceries if we need something urgently. The Indian veggies like drumsticks, curry leaves are usually fresh here. My son likes the gulfis (Indian ice cream).

For a small size shop they stock amazing amounts of Indian foods and spices. I found everything that I needed from frozen paranthas to ghee and I am satisfied with their products. Plus the owner is a nice person.

I found Kavita Grocery similar to a Grocery store in India only better for I found everything I needed under one roof. It has amazing Mangoes and Uncle even speaks in Hindi which adds that Indian aura. Anybody who's health conscious would very much appreciate the variety and convenience of this store. Highly recommended.

I live close to Kavita and have been wanting to check it out for months now. I finally walked down there and was glad I did. I couldn't believe how many grocery items were packed into that tiny space. I enjoyed browsing for a good 20 minutes before making my selections.

I find they are good for buying certain staples like rice, beans, lentils and spices, all regular foods on my menu.

The prices are very reasonable, too. I also bought some incense and a few Indian knick knacks for my meditation altar. I will be back soon to try some new things, new spices as soon as I look up some recipes where I can use them. Kavita, definitely recommended.

Lots of goodies here! Tons of bulk spices at excellent prices, delicious cookies not sold in supermarkets, fresh produce, frozen Indian dinners, specialty cooking items, Indian candle holders and nik-naks, and candies and ice cream you can't find anywhere else! Bonus awesome owner!

A nice neighborhood grocery. The owner Punjabi couple’s smile and attitude are plus for the store. Nice people.

It's a tiny store but they had all the exotic Indian ingredients I needed for an Indian recipe. Also, the cashier was so nice and helped me find the spices I was looking for.

Great selection of snacks, good variety of tea and spices. It's a little cramped in there (aisles a little narrow) but overall it's a great place! I love chakali/murukku and they have so many options! :D
They also make you feel welcome despite the super loud door chime lol.

I love this grocery for their Indian produce like Indian eggplants and fresh fenugreek leaves. The person who runs the store is very helpful and nice.
