Best coffee in Culver City!
Friendly people, good vibe, good prices. Coffee and pastry are delicious!
Our regular place to go. Highly recommend you to try their everything croissant with the cream cheese inside.

Not even kidding, I just had the best mocha latte in my life. The only reason I gave food 4 stars is because they didn’t have any pastries when I was there. Highly recommend if you’re in the area looking for coffee that’s not Starbucks.

The very first I came, we were treated like family. That checks off service and quality. AJ and his family, and all the baristas are lovely humans. What's even better is the quality of food and flavors for the pricing. If they can make it your way, the will die trying. My loyalty is forever sealed. I absolutely love this place. Oh yes, before close it must be said, AJ is an absolute chemist when it comes to making your perfect drink. If only they were open on weekends. But since they also sell and grind bulk beans and teas of many varieties, you can get your fix until you can be catered to next week.

Very nice atmosphere to enjoy coffee wth friends or by yourself! The chai latte was a little watered down for my taste, but not bad. Will try something different next time

Cutest cafe with very friendly staff. Best iced vanilla latte my girlfriend and I have ever had (be sure to get large for excellent milk to coffee ratio). Love that you can customize the sweetness (50% is my fave). But beware…. You may never go back to Starbucks again

I do not give 5 stars easily, just saying 😄
Great pastries! The ginger, peach scone was well balanced and delicious. Great experience with their organic mint and lavender tea.💫🌷

Server was super friendly, explained all the pastries (they’re amazing) and drinks. Most of all the coffee is incredible, they roast the beans themselves every morning.

My favorite coffee shop ever!! Getting coffee from Conservatory is the highlight of my day! Everyone that works here is so nice and their lattes are amazing. They also have a few GF muffin options which is great.

Adorable café with lots of character and incredible coffee. Seems to cater to a nice mix of writers and businesspeople, and they have gluten free baked goods and plenty of seating. Will definitely be back!

We've been trying a new independent coffee place each week. It's become clear that this is the best place on the Westside.

Excellent tea and coffee selection to choose from and delicious bakery items! The decor is rustic and old-fashion. There’s not much space, so you may have to get it to-go if you come during peak hours. Parking is also pretty limited in the area, but most lunchtime patrons have walked from nearby offices so you may find a spot if you come by car.

Best coffee shop I've ever been too. Coffee is cheap and the espresso quality is unreal! Staff are friendly and take time with each order. Love this place.

As I continue to explore the ever growing number of excellent coffee offerings around L.A., Conservatory remains my favorite. Best of the best!

I was in Culver City for a couple of weeks and went to the conservatory every morning!! The quality of the lattes & blended iced lattes are better than most places (including the cafes I go to in NY). The pastries were also very good. Most importantly, the staff is welcoming, beyond friendly, and extremely efficient. There’s a reason it’s always full. A beautiful environment to do work in & a great local community. I can’t wait to come back soon :)

Great place to source your "special occasion coffee beans" ($15-20/lb). Everything is fair trade, roasted in house. This place is a fave amongst coffee snobs. No idea where they source their baked goods, but they are consistently good.
*note that they are not open on weekends. always check hours before you go as they are wonky

You can't go wrong with The Conservatory. They have fantastic coffee roasted fresh in the shop, their tea selection is insane and the pastry offerings are always on point.
If you need help choosing a coffee, the staff are all very friendly and knowledgable. I've been buying their organic fresh roasted beans for the better part of two years and I can say I have always been greeted with a big smile. Everyone their knows the coffee and can help you decide what beans you'll like based on easy to understand descriptors like "chocolatey" or "fruity." Telling them your brew method of choice isn't a bad idea either.
If you want an intensely fruity, blueberry-like coffee I highly recommend the Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Natural. Ask to smell the beans and you'll be blown away. It's even better if they're offering that as the single origin espresso for the day.

I absolutely love this place . It is my morning stop for coffee Monday through Friday after I drop my little dude off for school . I love the staff and the coffe is fantastic . They roast their own beans and are very knowledgeable about everything they sell . Great place to sit and chill , people watch or just enjoy the day outside on one of the umbrella tables . 👍👍
