My husband and I love this place! We both love Japanese cuisine, so this was at the top of our list for new places to try. Neither of us are beer drinkers, but we got a flight of beers to try anyway. We enjoyed the Saison Sayuri and Yuzu Ale the most! We got an order of the gyoza, which was delicious, and an oni roll for the sushi, which was incredible too. We also ordered a teriyaki chicken pizza, which I suspect they forgot to put in, because we were asked if we wanted any other food when we were done with the sushi. But we weren't in a hurry and didn't mind waiting for the pizza, which was out of this world, stupid good. We finished off with a mochi brownie sundae, another great choice. It was the perfect amount of food, and we only ended up having a few slices of pizza left over to take home.

Our server was incredible friendly and helped us pick out our beer flights and she even made me a custom soju drink, which was amazing. I appreciated how nice and quiet it was inside, and that we weren't seated near anyone else. Definitely worth a visit! I would for sure go again.

The Sushi and Sashimi is ALWAYS VERY FRESH😊😋 If you are a beer connnoisseur or just like beer, and want a clean, casual, friendly place to go eat and drink with your friends and family, I definitely recommend this place. I've been 4 times in the past few months, alone, and have thoroughly enjoyed myself. They also have handcrafted Sake and there's only one like it in America. The other establishments are located in Japan. The intrigue alone is worth exploring.

This is an amazing spot for japanese food and beer. Excellent sushi, big pieces, and reasonable prices. Try the yellowtail and albacore you won't be disappointed. Good selection of japanese beers you won't find anywhere else. Staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Reopened for Corona and it's setup well with plenty of space. Try the mushrooms too!

Awesome place to grab Japanese beers and food! The beers are brewed in Japan by a craft brewer, and the food pairs wonderfully! They also offer a variety of flights (beer, sake, shochu) if you’d like to try more items!

Stumbled across this place after leaving the AAA office. The Rising Sun was amazing and I'm not much of a beer drinker. Plate of skewers were a bit lonely but worth it. Will be comparing to the tokyo locations soon.

Excellent quality, great selection, delicious flavors. Romantic cozy ambiance but with sumo wrestling on the telly. Wide selection of beers, sake, and wine. Fill up on everything, pass on the dessert.

FYI, Happy hour M-F 3pm-6pm with $1off skewers and year round beers. So come out to be $2-$3 skewers, and $7-$8 pint beers.

This place is amazing! Great atmosphere with interesting food and drink options. You get a brewery vibe with Japanese bites and authentic and unique beer and sake options. They have a great happy hour even on weekends! The skewers were great and the mushroom was a personal favorite.

Always an excellent time! They have Baird beers on tap, plus a few extras. Varied list of Japanese/ Asian bottled beers available. Large Sake menu. The servers are very well versed and will help you make a decision if needed.
The food is delicious, I've never had a bad meal. The yakitori is delicious! Not the bare bones authentic style, but very saucy and tasty! I recommend the negima.
Sushi is solid and they have picky eater and kid options.

Food is very tasty and reasonable. Super unpretentious and fun atmosphere. They're always playing sumo on TV. Splendid beer selection and nice people running the joint. Great local spot. Kind of a hidden gem but if you know you know.

This place is amazing!!! Great food with some unique twists...try the meatless "Impossible" selections for a surprising meat flavored treat.
They also have an awesome beer selection from Japan. On top of all that, the wait staff is super friendly, informative and efficient.

Got take out here and it was super tasty. The impossible croquette bento was very good and the salmon belly skewers were even better. Solid portions too - the skewers and a side would have been enough for lunch

Very good place to have Japanese cuisine. I visited here on Friday without reservation, but i could get a seat in 10min.

Their selling point is variation of craft beers. They have wide variety of beers from dark beer to light beer.

The inside of the restaurant was crowded and busy. We were sitiing at the big table where several groups can sit together. You can conversation with others or check what they are enjoying.

As a Japanese, I can recommend this place to my friends.

First time here and tried jewels flight for $13 the beer selection is huge and super tasty. What I ordered was the spicy Edamame, taproom ribs, pork belly skewers which I would recommend anyone to try. The only item that disappointed me was their karage. The service was great and looking forward to stopping by to try the rest of the menu.

I’m a local who stumbled upon this place and was pleasantly surprised. The food was great, and the sake options were perfect. At one point the owner, Adam, came and sat with us to tell us the entire origin story of the taproom.

It honestly was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in recent memory.
