Hollywood Downtowner Motel

The staff was really nice and helpful. Willing to accommodate me in everyway they could. The room was really spacious, nicely decorated and very clean. Real private and quite rooms. Overall, a great place to stay.

I've stayed here over a month and words can describe how comfortable I've felt here. Amazing staff Kim,Juan and Chris are the absolute best!!! The rooms are very clean and well maintained. Great rooms for the value. I would rate my experience here a 12/10 . You won't regret your stay here. Persia ❤

A lovely clean , excellent value for money Hotel in a great location not far from the walk of fame .All the staff are very friendly and helpful. There is plenty of secure car parking to the rear of the hotel. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

I stayed here with my boyfriend. The rooms were spacious, clean and well-maintained.
The location was perfect - close to the city center and attractions. Parking is only $10, which is amazing because it's secure. (Gated parking lot) The staff (Juan) at this hotel were so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back and stay here whenever we come to L.A. (were from San Diego)

This is not a 5 star property.
If you want something fancy for $300+ a night plus $50 a day valet parking, look elsewhere.
This property is perfect for budget travellers.
Clean, staff is super friendly, safe location, maybe a 20 minute walk down the boulevard to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, within super short walking distance to restaurants and grocery stores, other shopping, easy access to and from the freeway, and parking is only $10.00.
Rooms are spacious, we had three in our party. Two double beds, a balcony, a swimming pool, free hot coffee in the office at any time, and I'm giving this place 5 stars because it's perfect for non fussy patrons who like clean, safe, affordable, comfortable, and location without breaking the bank.
Office guys are very accommodating and welcoming. Housekeeping were as well.

I loved this hotel, it is an old building but well kept and clean. The rooms are great, the staff could not be nicer. The bathroom is fully renovated and the water pressure great. It is a 15 minute walk to the walk of fame stars and other things. Their shampoo and conditioner is great best I have ever used in a hotel or home, wish I had seen what it was. Well worth the cost.

Very clean and nice rooms. No complaints. Nobody disturbs and you can be here totally without contact. LA streets are noisy and some of it comes in too, but it is inevitable, I think. We have spent here 5 days and very happy with the choice.

This little inn is such a great place to stay. We stayed for a weekend in Hollywood from the IE and this will now be our getaway spot every time we are planning a weekend in LA. Kimberly, the manager at the front desk when we checked in, was amazing. The room itself was tastefully furnished, comfortable, and quiet, but that is not what really makes this place great. It is the service. Both Kimberly and the gentleman that works nights, were excellent. Kimberly made sure our stay was pleasant and was very flexible to our unique needs. Also, she has great taste in music. Love The Cure. We will be staying at this hotel again next month for our weekend trip to Universal Studios. Thank you for being our new weekend vacation spot Hollywood Downtowner Inn!!!

Obviously this place is at the budget end of places to stay in Hollywood and from what I could tell it’s probably one of the better places you could stay at.
Doesn’t have that divey feel other places in the area do plus the staff were great.
Had no issue with the room both times I stayed though you may cop some traffic noise in the rooms closer to the street.
Very conveniently placed as well, close to public transport, a major supermarket and food outlets. Cheers

Very comfortable room, friendly staff, cleanliness and hygiene is up to the mark as well. Location is great, most of the connectivities are at a walking distance from this hotel. Will definitely be back

I've personally stayed at this Motel and I have taken clients there. Kimberly at the front desk is amazing always very helpful and friendly. House keeping Mariela and Miriam always make sure room and facility is at its best. Do not hesitate to request anything from them as they will always accommodate for your most pleasureval stay.

An absolute pleasure to stay here. After a long drive in we checked in very late, around 1AM. The staff was so friendly, answered our questions with a smile and gave us the scoop on the surrounding area and where to find fun stuff to do.

The room was spacious, very very clean and very very comfy!

I can't think of a single reason for this hotel to earn less than 5 stars. Great staff, great rooms, great location! A+++

It's a great value motel located just one block off the Hollywood/Western intersection/metro station which makes it very convenient. the neighborhood itself is safe enough for LA so I had no complaints, and there is a supermarket (Ralphs) only one block away. The hotel staff was very helpful and replied my requests clearly and the rooms were very clean. The only thing the room didn't have was a fridge.

This staff in this hotel are the best!! You think the location is great? Wait until you interact with the people who work there. 5 stars well deserved!

The owners of this place are fantastic! We booked our rooms last minute 2 nights in a row. They allowed us to check in at our convenience and then stored our bags for us as we went out exploring for day 2 days in a row. Very friendly with a very decent breakfast right near the action of Hollywood for a good price! Highly recommend!

This place was amazing! I didn't catch the name of who checked us in but she was amazing and got our group rooms right next to eachother and right in front of the pool. We stayed 3 days and the cleaning staff was helpful and asked us each morning if we needed anything. When we checked out and started our trip back across the country we noticed we left a bag and Shawn went out of his way to ship it back to us! Before we made it out of the state he had it on its way! I cant stress enough how amazing our stay and care was with them. If you're visiting Hollywood go here!

I was very happy with my stay at this hotel. Price was definitely a factor in my choice to stay here - I knew I wasn't going to get a fancy, five-star hotel experience, and so I adjusted my expectations accordingly. Check-in was quick and simple, my room was clean, functional, and comfortable. The location of the hotel itself isn't particularly glamorous but it does have great access to nearby points of interest. There was a cooked buffet-style breakfast provided which isn't usually included at this price, so that was nice. I had no doubts about safety staying here. I had been here once before and it would be my first choice if I came to Los Angeles again.

Was amazing! At the beginning, check-in easy and fast, secure parking. When we got to the room 204, the surprise was big, spacious, complete with stove, refrigerator, microwave, a living room with a sofa, table and TV and the comfortable room. The breakfast is also included in the reservation, it is simple but sufficient and tasty, it has bread, eggs, sausage, wafle, potatos, coffee and juice, it is 2 doors away from the hotel and the guy who welcomes us for breakfast is good nice. About the location, it's great! Close to everything, shops, restaurants / fast food and tourist attractions such as the walk of fame. We love our stay and hope to be back soon!

This cute little yellow motel was great for an affordable place to stay in Hollywood. It's nothing fancy but it's clean and comfortable. The central courtyard surrounds the pool and the yellow/blue contrast and the pops of color with the plants is a charming combination. The room is a little less "fun" looking but everything was in good shape and clean. Bed was very comfortable. I'd definitely recommend it.

Great location on Hollywood Bvd, great service and really cozy rooms. Amazing for the price. Great accessibility to many places in Hollywood. Totally recommended
