I received a SpaFinder gift card for my birthday and chose to use it at Alternative Skincare and Wellness and I am happy I did. Stephanie has a such a warm and inviting energy. On top of that, her office/spa is lovely.

I opted for a customized facial since this was my first visit. I left feeling relaxed and my skin was super hydrated and glowy.

Stephanie was also very knowledgeable about products that are harmful to skin and what ingredients we need to avoid. This was super helpful to me.

Give Stephanie a try if you are looking for some relaxation and a good facial.

Stephanie did Hydra facial for me, she was very kind and did relaxing facial. Definitely recommend her. She also helped me with her products and some of those are really good than most market products.

I recently tried a Gua Sha facial, and I must say, I'm impressed! The experience was incredibly relaxing, and the results were visible immediately. I have TMJ issues and my skin felt firmer, looked brighter, and the tension in my facial muscles melted away. I can't wait for my next appointment 🤗

I don't think I have EVER gone to a place that provided me with so much care and attentiveness. From the minute you walk in, Stephanie gives you 100% of her undivided attention. She was so knowledgeable, not only about skin care, but about health, what is happening in and around us that may be affecting us and so much more. I live an hour away, but I am going to go back with my two teenage girls. I cannot recommend her and Alternative Skincare and Wellness enough!

I will start off by saying that I have been doing thorough research of spas to go to where organic products, a clean approach, and holistic practice is an important part of their service. After reviewing various businesses, I found Alternative Skincare and Wellness. I read through their website, looked at their available services, gave the business a call with some questions I had and decided to book an appointment. And WOW, am I glad I did. As soon as I walked into this day spa, Stephanie greeted me with the warmest smile and positive attitude. She introduced herself, walked me through the spa, explained what we would be doing, and we got started with my appointment. Stephanie is such a knowledgeable, educational, and thorough esthetician. She made sure we went through anything and everything. She asked about my concerns and while providing the service she made sure to take them into consideration. I cannot express how much of a phenomenal experience this first facial was for me. Stephanie is INCREDIBLE and AMAZING at what she does. I have had prior facials (even with celebrity estheticians) before but this was unlike any other. She makes you feel comfortable, relaxed, at ease, and you know that you are in great hands. Her touch is unreal. I am now and will continue to be a loyal customer for life and as long as she is in practice. This was the best facial I have EVER had. Her techniques, gentle movement, expertise, and presence are something I look for every spa I go to. I am so glad that I found her, she knows exactly what she is doing and knows what she can do to help you personally with your skin care goals.

I've been seeing Stephanie on a monthly basis since last year, and it's made such a difference for me, both physically and mentally. I'm about an hour away from the area, and as someone who's not a huge fan of long drives—I would rather drive the 40 miles to see Stephanie than anyone else in my area. The effort and care that she puts into each detail of her work as an aesthetician is unmatched.

Stephanie's location is so incredibly clean, friendly and the atmosphere is so peaceful. Her healing hands go beyond the art of skincare, she has an amazing positive energy that invites everyone in and makes you feel welcome and at ease. Her reiki and chakra services have personally changed my life. I highly recommend Alternative Skincare to anyone who is curious about reiki/chakra healings; she does a good job explaining to you the process. But if that is a little of your comfort zone, her skincare services alone will instantly heal you. Stephanie uses top of the line quality products in all her facials, combined with her healing shoulder massages, you will leave feeling and looking refreshed, glowy, and 100% rejuvenated.

I had the most wonderful experience with Stephanie. It was very relaxing and calming. The place is very clean and smells great! It puts me in a Zen. Stephanie is very sweet , professional and amazing in what she does. My skin felt great after my facial and the products she uses just tells you that she cares , gentle on your skin as well as good for the environment. I’m looking forward to my next facial/ microdermabrasion with her.

I cannot express how much I love Alternative Skincare! I have been going to Stephanie for about 4 months now and I see a huge difference in my skin. She’s helped me control some cystic acne without using any harsh antibiotics or prescription creams. I LOVE the products she uses - they are so luxurious and best of all CLEAN. I know I can trust that she’s does extensive research on anything she uses on her clients. It is such a treat to get a facial from Stephanie - I always leave feeling super pampered and relaxed! This review is long overdue. I started seeing Stephanie (the owner) about 5 months before my wedding, and the regular appointments were 1000% worth it. My skin has never looked better! I got the Hydraderm facial 1-2 times per month. I also got a couple of back facials and gua sha facials and loved both but the hydraderm quickly became my favorite. It gently exfoliates so my skin looks and feels super smooth, and I always left with super hydrated and glowing skin. She also used oxygen during each session to kill bacteria which I swear got rid of all my breakouts. My skin was literally flawless on my wedding day thanks to Stephanie and practically perfect the entire 5 months I saw her consistently. I'm not even kidding, I would get compliments on my skin on a regular basis. I can think of at least three occasions off the top of my head where a stranger told me I have glowing skin and countless times from friends and family. The environment is also so relaxing and serene. All around 10/10 recommend especially for brides to be and special events! Thank you, Stephanie!!!

I hadn't had my brows professionally groomed in a decade (I'm on top of my upkeep), and it was time. Stephanie was welcoming from the moment I entered her beautiful space. She asked me about my goals for my brows, and talked me through everything she was planning on doing. She uses gentle, natural products (the redness on my sensitive skin had dissipated by the time I got to work 45 minutes later), and I felt very relaxed and in good hands throughout the process. My brows are back to looking on-point, and I'll be back in a few weeks to have her do them again. Great experience.

Finally, after a long year of quarantine shut downs, a facial. What a welcome experience. Stephanie is extremely professional and gifted as an esthetician. Her customized facial for my "mature" skin was perfect. Even now, two days later, my skin feels smooth and much more hydrated. additionally, she brings her healing Reiki hands to the face, neck and shoulder massage. Skin feels wonderful from inside out.

She offers great types of facials, and treatments such as microderm, derma filing and even CBD facials. She uses all natural product with no artificial dyes or additives other lines may have.
She treats not only my face but my body as a whole, it is the only time I make for myself knowing I will rejuvenate mentally and facially.

Five stars for my girl Stephanie! She is one of the best estheticians I have ever been to by far. She is kind and very knowledgeable. I also can’t believe how reasonable her prices are, even though she uses all natural organic products. I have been to spas where they use organic products but their prices are unnecessarily high.

I’m so glad that I went to Stephanie , I heard about her from a couple friends and I have nothing but great things to say about her. I love how she pays close attention to your specific skincare needs, she gets to know you and your skin so she can provide the best treatments, I left glowing, calm and so excited to return.
