Sausalito Bakery & Cafe

This bakery cafe is located right across the street from the water. Such awesome views of San Francisco and Angel Island. On a nice day, I prefer to side outside. The food is served on plates even though we were sitting outside. Everyone loved their food. Service was excellent.

TLDR: quality items at reasonable prices!

We got the egg frittata, the domo (Greek grape leaf wraps), chocolate cookie and coffee. The frittata was very tasty with a little bit of spice added. The domo were so tasty and my gf loved it. The chocolate cookie was bit more like a scone/biscotti so it’s not as soft as a regular cookie but the flavor is still very tasty.

Stopped by here in our way up to Sonoma, and so happy we did. This adorable cafe has outdoor seating to take in some sun and views of San Fran in the distance. We got the lox bagel, bacon egg and cheese, chocolate chip cookie and the banana bread with blueberries on top. The sandwiches were a little pricey but the banana bread was some of the best I’ve ever had. The chef was so sweet and excited to show everything that they have to offer.

Delicious breakfast overlooking the San Francisco skyline. We ordered bagel with salmon and cream cheese and an egg, cheese and bacon sandwich on a crispy croissant that was delicious. A very coquettish and cozy terrace. Recommended!

If you’re passing through and looking to grab sandwiches, cakes and coffee this is the perfect stop. You can dine indoors if you wish too and there’s outside seating should the weather be kind.
The team were friendly and nothing was rushed. Detail to the presentation and preparation of our food was great.
On street parking is available and if you’re arriving by bike a few large bikes racks are situated directly opposite.

Cute little spot, with outdoor seating. I had a blueberry banana bread and a cappuccino. The banana bread wasn’t too sweet, very moist and flavorful. Coffee was good. Positive experience overall. Would recommend.

First, I always give a nodded to bakeries and coffee shops open at 6a.

Sausalito Bakery opened with the great smell of fresh bread and coffee. Combined with friendly neighbors and staff and you have a great way to start your day.

Super friendly service. Wonderful range of homemade cakes and pasties. We had the apple strudel - was delicious right down to the very last crumb! And the coffee - in a word, excellent. Atmosphere - pleasant, We were last customers as closing so can't comment much. Abd, finally, such a gorgeous location right by the bay. Will not hesitate to return if ever in Sausalito again.

Best Bakery in Sausalito by far. Josh is super friendly. Cinnamon roll is excellent. Vegetable Frittata was amazing. Great early morning stop. Almost forgot the macarons , chef’s kiss!

Really loved this bakery and definitely coming back for more when around the area! It’s a mix of Greek, Italian and French and you have plenty of items to choose from. We had the
frittata - huge portion and best I’ve ever had so far. The addition of olives made it amazing
baklava - had plenty of flavor and syrup
salmon cream cheese bagels - good and comes precut for you. I would go with the plain bagel if you’re not a fan of fennel on your bagels
Breakfast croissant sandwich - you get the choice of either ham or bacon. Ham was cut small and had the perfect realty flavor
Blueberry banana bread pudding - flavor bomb, not overwhelming with banana and definitely not dry

Big bonus for the friendly service. The guy wearing the chef hat was super cheeky and funny and the other two were very welcoming. Bonus points for the outdoor seating and view!

The favorite was the cinnamon roll.. sooo good! But really everything we tried here was great. Croissants were perfectly flaky and the bread pudding was very flavorful.

If you can grab a table outside, the views are amazing!

12 years ago I visited San Francisco, cycled across the bridge with friends and sat here and had sandwiches. When people ask where I had the best sandwich in my life, I say it was this place. And despite being from Manchester UK, I'll be going back.

Nice little bakery with a million dollar view in the heart of Sausalito. Sandwiches, coffee, and baked goods are all delicious. Friendly staff and a cozy environment.

Came here for a casual lunch...loved the food, atmosphere, and service so much we made sure to visit again before our trip was over. Everything was fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced for hearty portions. Each dish tasted like it was their specialty dish made with patience and experience. Sausalito bakery & cafe is a MUST visit for breakfast/brunch/ lunch options!

Absolutely perfect!! Love this adorable cafe where locals gather. We were tourists, but still treated warmly as if we were regulars! We had breakfast, breakfast sandwich and a scramble and we couldn't resist this special bread pudding, blueberry and banana. Holy cow, the bread pudding was so good! And the vibe in that place is just really nice, You could see people just relaxing and lingering over their coffee without rushing to get out of there. That outdoor seating which is lovely on a sunny day.

This place is AWESOME! Cool little street side cafe right on the waters edge. Owner was personable and friendly. He recognized a customer that walked in while we were there that hadn't been there in 4 years he says and even remembered what he ordered. Pretty cool :)

Amazing bakery, superb high quality and delicious food you get here. Additionally the place itself is very nice style of a little village and this itself is worth it. The bakery is small an cosy, you get good recommendations and a big variety of yummy things. The size is always good for sharing. Not too much seats inside, but it’s a bakery not a restaurant:)

Excellent selections and quality food. Great attitude of servers and kitchen staff. Fresh veggies and great cooking style too besides the great view of San Francisco Bay.

Great spot for a coffee or sandwich right off the Sausalito coastline. Had an Iced Latte and a Bagel with Cream Cheese for not too much. Inside was packed with people but managed to get my order pretty quick.

The barista lady was also very cheery and good at multitasking under pressure! Admire the hustle.
