Deadman's Pond

One of my favorite places to walk. It has a rundown parking lot, overgrown trails, and who decided to name it Deadman's pond? Furthermore, why did they name it Deadman's pond?

Everything I mentioned would probably turn people away, but I can't get enough... I'd die for it.

Hi folks. I was out walking on the trail today and found some Honda car keys with a metal "thrive" keytag . 315 pm. Left them hanging on the sign up the little ridge from the bench as you walk north past Deadman pond trail head parking area.

Pretty place. Don't listen to the reviews saying it's private. The entire west side of the pond is owned by the city.

It's a walking trail. You could go on the trail with a wheelchair. Some parts are flat. But most places is steep and even a little scary.

Never did find out why it's named this. Saw some awesome folks working on trail out there though

Nice long trails only problem is no maps on the trails easy to get lost, but good for an adventure get lost for hours

Private pond for nearby houses off the Puyallup Loop. Area around the pond is swampy and any area with shade has an abundance of biting insects in the summer. Would skip the pond and take the loop.

Don't start to wonder this area near the time it gets dark, could get lost in there with out a actual map(there isn't one), if it's getting dark stay out or have a GOOD flashlite because it gets real dark in there.

This pond has privately owned access for most
Virtually the whole pond. Not a destination kind of place, but nice to look at as you ride by.

Not sure why this appears as a place. It is private, with no public access. Part of the Puyallup Loop trail runs nearby, and that trail is worth a visit, but don't expect to be able to visit Deadman's Pond.

Privately owned with NO public space. Anyone going to the pond is trespassing.
