Large servings and food is always well cooked and tastes perfect.

The food was so good. I love the spicy chicken teriyaki.

I might be a little biased but I've been coming here for well over a decade. Good food, good portion sizes and decent prices. The staff are pretty friendly and they recognize regulars.

I ordered 4 chicken teriyaki for takeout tonight. Ready in less than 10 minutes. Reasonable price, deliciously perfect meals, clearly made by a gramma and grampa that run the place. Great value

Got the Kyoto Combo Deal 1, was expecting a Togo box with some beef and chicken teriyaki with a couple shrimp tempura. I got 1 container full of beef and chicken w/ streamed veggie, rice in a separate one and vegetable tempura in another. A meal for 2 or 3. Great value, food was great, definitely recommend

I like this place! The food is excellent and the service has been good as well. I used to eat in before COVID, but these days they are take-out only. I usually call ahead and my order is typically ready by the time I get there.

Very lovely women took our order. They have take outs only due to covid. Huge portions. We stayed at hotel and were able to split the food and have the other half for lunch next day. ❤

As we told the employees, "Our complements to the chef and all the staff". This didn't feel so much as being a restaurant, rather it felt like the extension of someone's home.

From the front counter staff to the back of house staff, we didn't feel rushed or hounded like other restaurants.

Now for the food.

WOW! OH, WOW! We ate everything we could and took the rest home with us. The portions were very generous and the beef teriyaki was some, if not in the top 2, of the best we had ever had.

Now to explain the portion sizes, we had enough rice after we ate our fill to come home and make fried rice for both of us and our 18 year old son and still have left overs. The left over teryaki we had was more than enough from our lunches.

Next time we are in the same area we will be stopping back for more.

This hidden Puyallup gem does not disappoint. I got the spicy chicken and a 7 piece gyoza. Great for dinner with plenty left over for lunch the next day.

The lady's disposition isn't that if someone who "wants" your business however the to go lunch special leaves enough for leftovers and has always fresh steamed rice. The egg rolls are large and delicious, the gyoza tastes fresh. I highly recommend this place.

This has been a family favorite for years. By no means do we go as often as once a week or anything of that nature but we do go several times a year. The lady behind the front counter always remembers us none the same.

Food is always wonderful and the prices are very affordable for the portion sizes.

Compared to all of the other teriyaki places around this price point I've been to (which is a lot) this is the best tasting I've had. You also get a ton of food for only around 10 bucks.

Inside is basic but it's clean and what you expect. Main lady who works there isn't terribly friendly or unfriendly, just normal demeanor for an older woman, she still said thanks and have a nice day as we left.

I will certainly frequent this place when I'm in the area.

One of my very favorite places for amazing Japanese food. Small, kind of a "hole in the wall" place but clean and friendly. The same owners/family for years! I have been taking my family there forever and we are never disappointed.

It's been 20 years I think. The best I have had. Should go for the special dinners like Mongolian beef. It's not 3/4 white onions with beef. It's green onions beef, great sauce on a bed of those white puffed rice things.

Delicious food at good prices and generous portions. I recommend the Chicken Yakisoba

Love this awesome comfort food. Wish they wouldn't have changed the beef they use for teriyaki beef. I get chicken dishes mostly. Good food for the family and tastes great.

Great food, recommend the tofu teriyaki, but probably won't sit in again
