Onward rides is very dependable especially after a procedure when you need someone reliable to drive you home. I always ask for driver Joshua who is the BEST. He always there on time and very personable and kind. This is my third time and guarantee it won't be my last. I honestly don't know what I would have done if I never came across Onward rides.

Highly recommend this company one of the best ride share companies I've had the pleasure of riding with. My driver Anthony was prompt and accommodating taking me to a doctors appointment from Hayward to the San Francisco VA hospital the trip was pleasant and safe and I arrived on time to my appointment.

This is the third time I have used Onward Rides and continue to be impressed with their service. My driver, Juliene, was waiting for me when the nurse wheeled me out, and provided a very clean car and a comfortable ride to my home. Then she walked me to the door and made sure I got in safely. Doctors and hospitals require a friend or family member for a ride home. But that's not always possible. My doctor has agreed to Onward Rides as it serves patients. It takes a big worry off my shoulders.

This was my first time using Onward Rides. I had been looking for an affordable and trusting option to do more than just door to door as my brother does not have any care and I am long distance. I highly recommend Onward Rides. The customer service from the phone was courteous, professional and put me at ease with my questions. I received confirmation of the ride and a bio and phone number of the driver. I also received updates regarding pick up and drop off of my brother. My brother felt completely comfortable with the driver (Bill) and said he was excellent, which is saying a lot coming from him. Bill was on time, careful and slow in walking him to the doctor office, waited for him, guided him to the pharmacy and took him home -- all safely and in good hands. We certainly will be using this service again. It is so refreshing to have a sense of trust and care with a company, especially when I am such a distance and worry. Thank you so much.

Originally, the surgery center gave me a different Service and it was terrible, I had called them 4 days in a row with no avail. I researched a service on my own and I found Onward Rides. WHAT A HUGE DIFFERENCE! They walked me through the process, they confirmed the person, I got text messages with details of the person, a little background on the them so I knew who was taking me. They do background checks on their people. They were SO PROFESSIONAL AND EASY! I am going to use them again.

Onwards is fantastic! My driver arrived on time in a spotless car and brought me right into my doctor's waiting room. She was there when my appointment was finished and helped me get back to her car. She was professional and fun to talk to. I'm already recommending Onwards to friends.

We have been using Onward Rides for about 2 months for our Mom. The drivers are prompt, polite, friendly and helpful. The office staff has been wonderful in helping us set up rides, understand the service and transition from Mom driving herself to relying on a service.

I found the only transport service available for handicapped people who aren't in wheelchairs and don't have full time caregivers is a van service for wheelchairs and gurneys at $400 round trip for a 4 mile distance. When I found Onward I was thrilled that their drivers do not simply dump you out at the doctor's office, like Uber and Lyft do. The Onward drivers were on time, they helped me get my shoes and jacket on, they helped me to the office visit and back, and they helped me with shoes and jacket back in the closet when I got home. Onward costs about as much as Uber/Lyft, but they are so much more helpful for those of us who need a little extra assistance getting to and from. This service has been a lifesaver for me, as without my deceased husband's help I would have to consider assisted living instead of staying in my beautiful home.

Overall, a hassle-free, positive experience. I was finished with my procedure early and the driver was kind enough to pick me up ahead of schedule. He even shared his real-time location with me on Google Maps so that I could remain updated on his arrival time. This is especially appreciated after undergoing a medical procedure, and all you want to do is get home. The driver was friendly and talkative, and was considerate by asking if I wanted the air on or windows opened. He also provided me with a bottle of water. Will definitely use this company again if needed!

Onward worked diligently to fill my ride request, although I wasn’t able (this time) to give them 24-hour notice. The ride was filled with an interesting and safe driver. I have some holiday shopping to do and will definitely contact them again!

I needed a driver last minute on a Sunday and they pulled through. The driver kept in touch with me and made sure my mother made it safely to visit a sick relative. He met her at the front door, and assisted her into the car. Very professional, courteous, and compassionate.

I have called on Onward serval times and they never disappoint. I’ve needed transportation on an SUV, they were there. I needed transportation at 5 a.m., they were there. Always early, never leave you alone but stay with you until you are attended. Professional, assist you with anything you are carrying, help you in and out of the vehicle. Vehicles are spotless and comfortable. Drives are relaxing and they sure take the stress out of the need. Dependable, friendly, and more than expected. I rate them a ten star ... but 5 is the highest. Highly recommend if you need medical transportation.

I had to leave out of town and began to stress about how to get my mom to and from a very important appointment for her oxygen. I came across onward and am really so happy I did. The process to sign up and book a ride was so easy, I received multiple email communications when I booked, when I was confirmed, when the driver was here and when my mom was safe at home.

Then the magic happened! After the appointment I called to check in, she was gushing about Lou! He came a bit early to ensure he was there on time (amazing), he helped her bring in Garbage cans, and he made her feel so care for (he didn't have to). Lou, Thank You from the bottom of my heart, you turned a stressful situation because I couldn't be there into a joy. I more than HIGHLY recommend Onward!

I recently used Onward Care for the first time and have more scheduled. It is hard for me as an independent senior to accept that as I get older there are times when I simply need some assistance and I don't want to interrupt the busy lives of family members. Other services simply provide a ride or treat you like delicate baggage or force you to adjust to their schedule shared with others. Onward is different! Both Onward drivers that I have had so far treated me like a concerned friend, providing the ride but also chatting with me and assisting me to the degree I needed. It is good to know I can comfortably keep my independence, on my schedule and at a reasonable cost.

Onward is filling a much needed void in local transportation services: Providing affordable door-through-door assistance and rides for people who need a little extra help getting from Point A to Point B, but who aren't ready for more intensive care giving services. I have used Onward for 2 of my frailest clients and couldn't be happier. The drivers have been personable, reliable and well-trained in assisting elders with mobility issues. The coordinator of operations, Ben, is professional, a pleasure to work with and very proactive about communication. With Onward, my clients are not only getting to/from doctor appointments safely, but they're also able to keep doing the things that bring them joy, like going to the symphony and the theater!

This is the first time I have had need of a service of this type.Onward exceeded all my expectations.I got confirmation and a reminder in case I needed to make changes and when my procedure finished early my driver was able to make an early pick-up so I didn't have to sit waiting for my originally scheduled time. Speaking of drivers I can't say enough about mine Kenneth. He was accommodating, gracious, and professional. Altogether the best part of my day.

Onward solved my need for how to get home after an out patient procedure. They provide that next level of service that the hospitals require. The driver will come into the building to tell the hospital staff they are there to pick you up and meet you back at the exit with the car when they wheel you out. Exactly what both the hospital staff and I needed to ensure I got home safely. I will use again and would recommend to friends.

Onward stepped in at the 11th hour after my plans fell through. Scheduling with them was quick and easy, my ride exactly the kind of uneventful one wants after a medical procedure, and cheap to boot. Happily recommend them for anyone needing a patient escort.
