Really authentic food: delicious Punch $2.49, milk products fresh made/ home made - cheeses, fermented milk, sour cream and many more, lots of spices, ripe pineapple, ripe papayas, coffee $2.25, hot bar, salads, fish, meats if you’re meat eater and much more. Mostly employees speak Spanish but it is not barrier. Highly recommend.

Excellent experience, great prices. All staff smiles and helpful. Place is a delight, we got shrimp cocktails premade to go w fresh avocado's and meat and veggies to make a knock out pot roast . I love cardenas. Their premade buffet food counter is extensive, store has a Mexican market vibe and has great butchery and bakery sections. Can't beat it.

The staff are extremely patient and helpful. The store is fairly big and has its own food court as well. There was a bit of a language barrier due to many of the staff knowing only Spanish but nonetheless the staff still try their best to help you out. Something to watch out for that I have been told (but havent seen yet) is the cleanliness while handling food.

Good place to shop during this inflationary time. Their self check out is better than Safeway and has friendly cashiers. Like their variety of sour cream... their veges and fruits....

This is a great place.
Very well stocked and great selection. We stayed in a hotel around the corner and would walk here for hot food.
Definitely recommend t Cardenas Market.

This is the best produce market in town and has cheaper products than most chains around. The bakery and food court are full of options and provide for a nice dining atmosphere. Enjoy!

I love this super Mercado lots of stocked items and the bakery is my favorite. Usually not very busy during the day.

I'm from AZ and it's hard to find legit Mexican food and groceries around here. This place has fantastic produce and carne asada!

Before the rebranding I came here once or twice but the smell from the butcher shop kept me away. Now it is spotlessly clean & pleasant. Good selection of produce, Latin groceries, cheeses, baked goods etc.
And I am happy to support all businesses that enforce the mask mandate!

Plenty of fresh masa, large meat department, and a cheese counter with many choices! They also sell hot food here and the tamales are delicious.

They only need more training in customer service at the hotel food area

Plenty of delicious food from their deli plus always fresh tortillas and chips. More variety of cheeses to cook with than anywhere else. Large meat department and lots of fresh vegetables.

They have the best fresh fruits and vegetables. They're always below market value in price. You can also expect that a carton of AA large eggs are always on sale below market price.

Great place to grocery shop, usually cheaper than safeway and I can find ethnic products for international dishes! Giant meat market for the perfect cut! Parking sometimes is a problem and big lines but the great prices make up for it!

I love love love this Cardenas. The area is nice and calm and the store is magnificent! It is so exceptionally well stocked, everything is perfect quality! You can find all your favorite foods and they have an abundance of all the specialities! Their bread is hands down the best bread I’ve ever had, specifically the conchas!

El Cárdenas es absolutamente excelente!

Really good store for inexpensive groceries! And authentic Latino groceries! Their restaurant gave me food poisoning about 4 years back, but I've eaten there since and they've addressed the problem. Their food is fine now.
