Very delicious food prepared the way I requested. Had Joe special which was tasty but lacked a bit of seasoning that I added at the table with salt and pepper at the table so not a problem really. Hashbrowns were perfect texture, loved how crispy they came. Pancake was also delicious an perfectly fluffy! Will def return 💯

I read about this place on Nextdoor a couple of weeks ago. My husband is from Sausalito and never noticed the place.

We decided to go this morning and we loved the food, atmosphere and service. The staff is so nice, welcoming and friendly!

The customers are very respectful, and although it was not empty, people talking in the perfect volume of voice. I hate loud places.

It’s our new favorite place in town.

We decided to try this place before dropping our kid to summer camp in Sausalito and it was a great experience. We ordered smoked salmon scrambled egg with hash brown , fruit bowl and pancakes. They were all amazing . Pancake was not mushy , not too sweet and had great texture . Smoke salmon scrambled eggs had generous portion of salmons but the best was hash brown ! Would love to come back again !

This low key resturant in Sausalito is where the locals go for hearty breakfasts. A Mexican chef puts his special touch in the eggs and salsas. If you are looking for an unpretentous, large portion
place for breakfast or lunch, I recommend Anchorage 5 resturant.

This was actually one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Every item was done right. The soda was cold and served with ice. Hash browns were absolutely perfect. Good toast and scrambled eggs were delicious. Bacon was crispy but not overcooked. I would eat breakfast here every day.

Seriously old school, but undeniably excellent breakfast & lunch place. HOW did we miss this little gem? Absolutely loved it!!!

The vegetarian tostada and the chicken tacos were delicious. Note that they will add a 4% extra charge on top of the menu price if you pay using a credit card!

This place is legit. Old school greasy spoon breakfast food, done Cali (i.e. Mexican) style. Best omelettes around, hands down.
What I really love is how utterly unpretentious and friendly the place is. This is the antidote to every trendy, influencer-friendly brunch spot in the bay area.

One of the two best breakfast diners in Marin county hands down well worth the money, if you eat here once you will be back next time around you visit this town , only thing is you will experience negative personalitys and outright offensive interactions if you park in the clipper yacht harbor parking area around the corner so avoid that place.

I have been going there for years, but recently I started a breakfast club there with a bunch of old doctors who I have known all of my life.

They are mostly in there 90’s now, and it’s so wonderful to get them together, and out again.

Regina is such a sweetheart, she always knows that we are coming.
She always knows each one of them and what they like.
She always knows that my mom and dad are going to be late, and she always rubs my moms shoulders, just for getting my dad there.

We all have lived in Marin sense the early sixties, and have eaten at about every good restaurant that ever came along, and that has been a lot.

You will never feel more at home than at Anchorage 5

The Benedict was great! Quality ingredients and very well cooked, would definitely recommend. Only draw back is not a ton of food for the price!

I thought we would stop here for outside seating with a view but the outside seating was in front with no view. We were in recovery mode from partying in the city and needed a hearty breakfast. Anchorage 5 came through. Our server was the sweetest and most thoughtful lady. Food was absolutely delicious. Would love to come back when we're in the area.

Visited from Seattle for two weeks. Good food, courteous and friendly staff who pay attention but don't continuously ask you if you need anything or if the food is good or if you want more coffee. They pay attention and pour you coffee when your cup is half full instead of asking you. They watch and take care of you without continually interrupting you like so many other restaurants these days. Great theme and atmosphere. Clean. If toast comes with your order ask them ahead of time to butter the whole slice instead of a dollop in the middle. Oh. I really detest always having my breakfast come with potatoes. And I'm tired of substituting it for the standard tomatoes or a cup of fruit. This place gave me a dinner salad! Awesome! I love this place and you will to.
