What a fantastic experience! I ended up speaking with the owner of the gallery and Elektra is everything a gallery owner should be- welcoming, nonjudgemental, knowledgeable, professional. And the artists she represents are so talented. There is something for everyone. I can't recommend it highly enough.

I stopped by on a whim whilst visiting from Philadelphia and was immediately taken with the space. Truly, an artist’s gallery in every sense of the word. The art represented here is sublime. I was immediately taken with it. Then I began speaking with Elektra. This woman doesn’t just display artwork. She breathes it. She took a significant chunk of time out of her afternoon to show me around her gallery. We discussed several artists at length. Never once did she attempt to apply pressure for me to make a purchase. Quite the opposite, in fact. She cautioned me against making a same-day decision. If you find yourself in Sausalito, do yourself a favor and stop in. The artwork is amazing, as is the owner. I’m going to try and stop back while I’m still in the area.

We have purchased art from Galerie Elektra and the customer service was phenomenal. We provided a photo of the wall where we intended to hang the piece and they emailed it back with the image of the artwork shown. It met our initial approval so we picked it up and brought it home to make sure it was exactly what we were looking for. Once we looked at it on the wall we decided to purchase it. We never felt pressured to purchase the piece. I wish all art galleries conducted business in this manner. Elektra is first class. The artistic talent she represents is too.

Always a treat when I get to go to Galerie Elektra. They are always so nice and patient, care about what you want, and love the art. I would recommend that if you're around you stop in and take a look at the beauty they have hung up.

Lovely gallery with a huge selection in a historic building right on the water downtown. The staff is amazing and helpful and never a hard sell. They even offer free shipping within the US! Something for everyone.

Beautiful pieces, knowledgeable and thoughtful staff. We looked, we looked, we left and wandered, we returned, we went to lunch and discussed, and we returned to purchase. Delightful experience, no pressure to buy, very careful and respectful of each piece, the artists, and the client.

The art selection was bland and the gallery wasn't particularly well maintained. If you're in the area, check out some of the other galleries around the corner, like Petri's or Hanson.

I walked in as an artist myself and the owner was rather snobby in conversation. The gallery is disorganized but it’s in a beautiful location.
