Firehouse Coffee & Tea

This is the best coffee in Marin. And yes, I’ve tried nearly every other spot because Peet’s and Starbucks is overpriced dumpster water. We drive 15 minutes to Sausalito to get our coffee at Firehouse, because if I’m going to spend $6-7, it better be worth it. And firehouse coffee is worth every penny. S/O the owner DJ for creating such an awesome local business.

Solid coffee option if you are in the area. Lots of 2hr parking nearby and they have temporary WiFi password for 2hrs of internet. I enjoyed my cappuccino. It’s a bit dark and can get loud but it feels very local.

Very casual atmosphere. Located right next to Sausalito fire station. Medium roast Americano with soy is very good. They have variety of pastries and some light eats. They also have patio space in back to enjoy outdoors. Staffs are nice and friendly nor cal casual. I will come back for sure!

Sausalito has never disappointed with the variety of coffee shops. Firehouse is no exception. I had the Sumatra Pour Over and cute little macaron and they were nice! Staff is great as well :)

A wonderful neighborhood coffee shop. Really great friendly staff members. The cappuccino was intense and delicious.
Nice spread of pastry and savory breakfast. Lots of comfy chairs and spots to chill.

What a beautiful little coffeeshop we came across when bicycling through Sausalito.
Bike racks right outside the front door, and comfortable, seating both outdoors and indoors.
I really enjoy finding privately owned non-corporate coffee stores which are well designed, run, with excellent products.

Inviting atmosphere, extremely clean in the lounge area and bathroom as well. Convenient location on the corner of Bridgeway & Johnson (right next door to the firehouse). If you happen to be getting your car serviced at Sausalito Auto Service right across the street, it's a great place to wait! Plenty of snacks , coffee beans, and of course a full coffee menu.

Great spot to stop after a bike ride. They make a good coffee. Warm friendly staff. Nice dog friendly back patio.

Very nice and pleasant atmosphere coffeehouse a little bit away from the main tourist areas! Good fresh brews coffee, nice music, clean place to enjoys coffee, sandwiches, pastries. Highly recommend it!

Perfect little latte away from the crazy of Sausalito on the weekend. Plenty of comfortable seating, super friendly staff and a nice assortment of snacks and treats. From Quiche to sandwiches, salads and deserts that my wife was crazy for.
...and DOG FRIENDLY...check out the back patio to chill with your pooch.

Great, cozy coffee house. Table and chairs, couches and coffee tables. Light snacks and eats. Great place to hang out and enjoy great beverages.

Great Vietnamese coffee. Good value. Quick service. Extra fee for credit card .

Spent 3 weeks in beautiful Sausalito visiting my brother.
We started every day with a delicious latte made by DJ and his wonderful staff.
If you take your morning latte seriously...just stop in and see them☕🧋

Visiting from Arizona & stopped in here for some coffee with our kiddos. Ended up spending a few hours here & met the absolute nicest people ! From the staff to the owners. All incredible interactions !! Most definitely will be back. Totally fell in love with the place & the people that work it.

I needed coffee and these guys had the perfect cup of coffee. I ordered a Vanilla Latte with a waffle pastry. Excellent taste, I love a good local coffee spot. Seating outside in the back patio area too.

Hot chocolate was delicious, not too sweet yet the chocolate aroma was amazing. Highly recommend. The seating area was so cute and comfortable. I enjoyed the environment there.
