Red Roof Inn & Suites Monterey

It was very clean and the beds are comfortable. The coffee was delicious in the morning. Check out time was a little early.

Good sized, newly renovated rooms. Central location. Exterior could use updating .

Stayed at Fremont Red Roof Inn for 2 nights. The place was clean, pretty decent. Bed was comfortable. The day bed was big enough for 2 person. Bathroom was clean. Well supplied with the things needed. Appliances were all functional (airconditioning, microwave, fridge, coffee maker and flat iron). Our stay was comfortable enough that we would check in with them when around the area again for an extended period of time. Oh before I forget. They also accomodated my 2 fur babies. One stayed free, the other one has an additional fee which was not bad at all.

Very accommodating were able to get us a room last minute after the Travelodge cancelled our reservation when we arrived because they changed their pet policy last minute and did not say anything to us even though we had the room reserved a week in advance. Pet friendly allows 1 pet under 80 lbs, and has parking for large vehicles and trailers. Room is good quality, the lobby entrance is a bit low only 7 feet so if you have a big vehicle you will have to go around the back to park.

My dog and us had a great stay here! Room was very clean and roomy can put 3 bikes in the room. Mary at checkin desk was very friendly. We did have a very quiet night and good rest here!

We had a great stay in the Family Suite with jacuzzi. Very big and roomy. It was very clean. I was impressed. Mary at checkin desk was very nice. We did have a problem lighting the fireplace so called front desk and they came right down to our room and got it started. It was a very quiet night. I didn’t think it was be so close to the airport and planes flying over. I was wrong we slept so good. We we definitely be back again.

We can’t say Thank you enough to Red Roofs staff member, Maria! Maria went above and beyond to help us with our stay at the Red Roof Inn in Monterey. She was firm and kind and was a great representative of the Red Roof Inn. We can only hope she will always be the one we see when we walk through those office doors! Thank you Maria! The room was so nice and clean, we settled in with peace and comfort for the rest of our stay. You rock, Red Roof. She is a good one!

Great room, very clean, place felt safe, can't do better for the price

Every staff member on duty during our stay went above & beyond. They let us use the laundry facility for later than usual so we could get a load done, then gave us change for the washer, and even lent us a corkscrew so we could open our wine! They were very kind and friendly, our room was very spacious and clean - the bathroom seems new and is gorgeous. The TV and all the plugs work great. The only negative was the quality of the WiFi - it hardly worked in our room. Great breakfast options too.

This is an older place that has had some very nice refurbishment. It was well furnished, nicely decorated, mostly quiet and generally comfortable. I had tried to go to a motel 6 first but that did not work out. As it turns out this is a much nicer place and costs much less. They are dog friendly (first dog free and the second one 25 dollars). Even with the 25 dollars for the second dog it was cheaper than motel 6. There was a microwave, coffee maker and fridge in the room also. I will definitely stay there again.

Will definitely be back. Very affordable, large clean double room with hottub, fireplace & balcony, 2 large TVs, comfortable beds, reclining chairs, couch, easy chair with ottoman, refrigerator and microwave. There is also a desk with swiveling chair and plenty of outlets for your electronic gadgets. WIFI is free, as is the parking. The restroom is with marble accents. Five windows and glass balcony door offer plenty of natural light. Excellent cleaning/maid service. The front desk is friendly and helpful.

I just had the best night in a motel...ever. The staff was AMAZING. We had some problems with a horrible place up the street...so we were already frustrated and tiered. Then there was a problem with my card. The woman was so nice and patient. The rooms were clean and perfect size. There wasnt alot of parking space for something like our big work van but there was plenty of room. It was quiet without feeling like you had to walk on egg shells. I loved that they're pet friendly and that the pets that were there were not loud. They even gave us an extra hour to check out. Which was awesome because i never seem to be on time. Completely wonderful night on a Saturday night. I do wish the Jacuzzi and the laundry had been open later. Being on the road all the time those are luxuries i dont get often.

Went here for a small vacation for two nights. Great service, lots of place to visit around, not noisy. Good place to stay with kids. Rooms are clean and all technics (tv, refrigerator etc) worked well. Thank you !

I stayed here for my honeymoon and had a queen bed room. The room was very clean and comfortable. The employees were extremely helpful and quick to solve any questions, they even printed us out a map when we asked where there was good hiking. They provided a continental breakfast with a few cereals and breads. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.

I loved it. Will definitely be coming back. Came with my children and husband to Monterey for the first time. The rooms are really nice. Beds are super comfy. Staff was friendly. The area is calm. My children were bummed we had to go back home. They loved it. Highly recommend.

Stayed here for whale-fest 2018! Convenient location. The ground floor in our unit were being remodeled, ours, upstairs, had already been done. Big spacious room, clean, friendly staff, comfortable beds, and pet friendly. Definitely would stay here again. I would have given 5 stars except the hot tub was being redone too. No, I'll give it 5 stars anyway the staff and amenities makes up for the hot tub.

I was initially skeptical about this place but ultimately went for it. Not bad for a inn. Looks like they have renovated the place. Bathroom has granite sinks and wall tiles are granite as well. AC is wall unit and looks brand new as well. Paid 2X the price for Memorial Day weekend :( but even with that this was the cheapest hotel/motel in entire Monterey area. Sorry for the messy look in the pictures. Getting ready to go for a 17 mile drive ☺☺

This hotel is perhaps one of the best values of any hotel in the state. For $150 a night, myself and three friends got a dog-friendly room that was well-furnished and in a somewhat convenient location. Note that this is Monterey, California, one of the most expensive cities in the United States.

The room was nice, clean, pet friendly had a/c, and a fridge and microwave. I, personally, can't ask for much more. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

The beds were very comfortable and soft. Rooms were on the smaller end but still well kept and does what a hotel room needs to do! Breakfast was simple fit and very good, and nice staff!
