VGS Chateau Potelle Winery

We had an amazing experience for 3 people with the epicurean lunch. It was expensive, but not over priced for Napa Valley. The lunch was 5+ courses of great food and Luis was a very fun server who shared all about the winery’s history and was very funny throughout. The food was amazing and the wine was amazing. I’d go back for sure.

Had a lovely tasting here; each wine was specifically paired with a small bite of food, which made for a fun and unique experience. Despite the fact that he was assisting multiple groups, our tasting host Luis was engaging and attentive. There was a personal touch that was missing at some of the larger wineries in Napa. Plus the wines were excellent. Would definitely revisit VGS on another trip to the area.

Although we did not have any reservation, they were able to accommodate our party of 5. It was a fabulous experience! So much so that I joined and became a member. The place itself although in close proximity to the main road was serene and inviting. Kaitlyn was a graceful host. The wines definitely did not disappoint, and the little bites that went along with them. If you're in the area, you should definitely check them out.

VGS came recommended to us by family friends to stop at on our honeymoon. Great atmosphere, DELICIOUS wines, and impeccable service. Anthony was our host. He was knowledgeable and had a personality to boot. They do not pressure you to join the wine club, which is appreciated. He even made some dining suggestions to us for our trip. We hope to come back soon!

Gotta love a wine tasting room that feels like a candy store. They don't always have a petite sirah on the tasting menu or for sale, but when they do you must buy it. I bought a few bottles without being able to taste and was devastated when they were sold out the rest of the way. Don't pass the opportunity up, buy their reserve when it's available or you will regret it.

Great wine! Tasting room is beautiful and unique. They serve a food tasting to pair with the wine that is magnificent, stop here on your tour in Napa and you won't be disappointed.

Todd was awesome. We came in close to closing and he kept it open for us and gave a very intimate one on one tastings since we were from out of state. He was great and the place was beautiful. First time in Napa and by far the best place we visited all day.

They do an old world vs new world tasting which is awesome, it was the best tasting we did. The wine at VGS is awesome.

Great little place just outside St. Helena. Affordable and approachable wines. Friendly service and they had some small bites that paired well with the wines.
