Safeway

Smaller Safeway BUT it had everything I needed. The Safeway employee at the Seafood counter was GREAT! Answered all the questions we had. Good sense of humor and did not rush us out. Produce section was good. Green beans were fresh and delicious! Store was clean and well maintained.

Update: came back on 08/10/19 in the morning and the deli was so much better. The ladies that took care of us really did a great job. Hopefully we get them every time we come.

Horrible service at the deli. Will not come back. The lady would not put any toppings on the sandwiches because we didn't tell her at the beginning of the order.

Very clean! Very organized! Fair pricing/deals. Wifi was present throughout the store making access to their app easy without delay or waiting for a signal.

I just want to say a ginormous THANK YOU to JENNIFER in customer service. This girl went above the call of duty. Lol. We had a laugh. She showed me how to download app. Nope I didn't know how. She did it with such kindness. Also she explained the coupon/digital to me. She also helped me with other things which had nothing to do with her department. She is absolutely amazing and a keeper, as a worker and a human being. You just don't get that anymore. Thank you JENNIFER for everything. And the laughing.

Everybody at this store is so incredibly friendly that my smile was face-hurtingly huge. I had tears pouring down my cheeks, not from joy even but from pain due to how pronounced my grin was. Happiest, nicest workers ever... I hugged nearly everyone of them, one of the oldest male bosses tried to kiss me on the mouth but I said no. He told me not to tell my parents because they shop here too. I won't say about that but later I will ask them about how friendly everyone at the store is. People at our church aren't even that happy! Tomorrow I am going to the park with Susie. It is super fun when we run through the sprinklers together and you can see that there is a misty rainbow in the sky. I love my effete gay hairstylist but his community is a cesspool. He says he spends his nights at 'dance classes' but I know better as I am omniscient, encompassing all things.

Great people who work here but when you are used to a safeway that is open 24 hours this one kind of falls flat with its 12am closing time and always long lines.

3/24/19 I am upping my review solely based on the people who work here they are great . My only complaint now is lack of tellers I really think this location would benefit from a couple self check out stations .

I was a little kid growing up going to Safeway 24/7 and I was the best local grocery store I ever went and the cheesecakes are bomb af. And I was reading the comments that there’s always traffic jam and long lines and you can’t blame Safeway you can blame yourself and wait I’ve been going through that for 16 years and I was one of the best groceries local stores ever been there cheesecakes are so good and if you lived in Saint Helena for a while you would understand how long the lines are but I don’t give an F about it. 😉

Delightful. Loved the place

The staff at the Deli department always tske great care of mw when I come in. Since I work around the corner, I often go there to grab a bote to eat for lunch. The staff know me by name and already know what type of sandwich I want. Awesome experience and consistent customer service.

Nothing to say, a standard American huge grocery store with too much stuff, but also some good one.
Expensive, definitely make the card!

Customer service is appreciated prices seem to be on the average okay I like the sale prices on pancakes sausages and beverages that's my favorite thing all in all Saint Helena Safeway is awesome

There is an elderly woman named Martha, who is an absolute gem.

Was you running errands in the township of Saint Helena California yesterday pass by Safeway to have a sandwich and a refreshment great place good food large selection very clean supermarket

Food is great! However sometimes the food they say they have is not yet prepared, making you wait till they make it.

Clean, really friendly employees... everything was exactly placed like another Safeway... no guessing and hunting
