Excellent selection, helpful staff, great check out. Only issue is the parking lot. Wonderful place to shop.

They stock many unique hard to find, or local fine food items. The prices are higher but it's expected in this high quality store. Black truffle potato chips! Stop by and check it out if you are in the area.

A nice place to stop by and by some wine if can make it to one of the winarries in the Napa Valley. If you are writing your bike this is a good time for a quick bike stop to grab a couple power bars or water.

Yummm!! As a part of our tours we had lunch picked up from Sunshine Foods Market and it was delicious. I had the pleasure of having the Kicking Kelly and it had everything you could ask for in a sandwich with a little bit of a kick to it.

Highly recommend enjoying something from the deli!

The deli, butcher, seafood counter, fruits and vegetable selection are unbelievable, too.

However, we are in the heart of Napa...so also as expected, it seems the most expensive grocery store in America too.

Highly recommend if you are going to the wine country and do not have time for a sit down lunch. Darcel in catering was great! She helped with our pre-order...always very responsive and even answered questions about options for a picnic. Lastly, the sandwiches were fantastic.

Great selection of groceries, fairly decently priced. I love the variety of locally sourced food, such as cheeses and veggies. The produce all looks fresh and abundant. I had some difficulty finding some items but well done sunshine foods.

I stopped by here today for the first time and everyone working here was so friendly and nice. I asked for a lunch recommendation, and the gentleman who was working at the produce section kindly suggested al pastor burrito. It was delicious! (and huge, too) When I got to the cashier, I asked whether there is a unique item that I should check out from this store and they went above and beyond to give me a recommendation and find the item for me. Great customer service!

I’d have a hard time imagining St Helena without Sunshine Market.

We love this place. Amazing fruit, vegetables, cheese, meat and the wine. They have great customer service and a small market feel. Highly recommend the aged white cheddar cheese in the back. Hot food as well. We go there as often as possible and we live in Sacramento!

Iconic Grocery Store located downtown St Helena one of the best run Markets in California.

Lovely small local market. Has basically everything you could need in a market including baby products, pet products, and a decent assortment of basic grocery goods. Small but good produce section. Excellent meet counter and bakery. The bakery is small, but very good. Prepared foods are good as well as the sandwich counter. Easy parking, and pleasant staff. The market also has nice decor and feel, and is pleasant to browse. Wine and spirits selection much more extensive than you would find in a market of a similar size.

Space a bit cramped, but excellent selection of prepared foods including a nice deli where they make to order sandwiches. Great butcher/meat counter and full grocery store. Good, quick stop to pick up food if in the area for wine tasting and don't have time to stop at a restaurant.

A small (easier to walk around), but well stocked grocery store. Produce, meat and fish departments have excellent selections. The deli makes any kind of sandwich for a great price. There is an on site sushi Chef. Lots of employees and all are super friendly and helpful. A pleasure to shop in!

My wife and I were doing something of a tourist walk of St. Helena. After having lunch, we were walking by the plaza Sunshine is in and I had a hunch it would be a special kind of grocery. My wife agreed and so we strolled in despite zero need for groceries.
We were struck immediately by the produce aisle stacked to above eye level with produce, the deli with a delectable mix of specialty deli meats and baked goods, and a well stocked full scale butcher counter. From there, we came across specialty spices we've only been able to get online previously, a long and stocked high aisle of wines, specialty sauces and more.
If you're a person that likes anything to do with making up your own good food, Sunshine is a ray of goodness!
