Chapel Hill Church

My family has been attending this church since around November and I absolutely love it. It feels like a very warm and welcoming environment from the moment I first walked in. Everyone seems very friendly. They have a coffee shop inside which is pretty cool. And all the messages the pastors preach are amazing and feel really heart felt and I feel like I leave every Sunday with so much knowledge of the Bible and with a good feeling.

Beautiful church that loves God and loves people. I appreciate the sound preaching from God’s word as well as the friendly, genuine people who attend. There are also many programs outside of Sunday services for the whole family that are available. And the music at both the traditional and modern services are top notch! I also love that Chapel Hill is passionate about serving the community. I am so blessed to call this church my home!

We have been at chapel hill church for over 18 years, we move up from California. A gal stop to talk to us our first visit, and we never left, all our kids grew up in the church, and the kids program, was so good, and it still is a wonderful place for kids to grow in their faith and see kids they know from school. It may be a big building, but being in a small group sure makes it feel intimate and loving. I also love the Hebrew coffee shop.

Our church home & lifeline for 16 years now! We love raising our kids and serving here. We come away so very blessed each Sunday. Our pastors are anointed with such a beautiful gift of preaching.

When we first moved to Gig Harbor in 2017, we knew few people. When we first visited Chapel Hill, it was almost instant family. We were so welcomed at HeBrews, the coffee center, and immediately approached for an overseas Reformation trip during which time we met many new friends. Through choir, Alpha, Bells, Life Group, and other groups we felt very welcome. There is a sense of purpose, fellowship, community, and caring for "Beyond These Walls" for supporting and caring for the community. This is a Bible-believing, scripturally strong, and solid church of faith, centered on prayer and on God's word. It is like coming home.

Chapel Hill has my heart! My husband, son, and I first moved to Gig Harbor in 2018 and they welcomed us in and got our family plugged in with friends and ways to serve the community. They have an amazing children’s ministry and preschool as well!

Hi. I love the sermons the Pastor gives to the congregation. He has so much heart behind his sermons. His sermons are interesting and very engaging and easy to learn from. I also like the amenities of this church and the kids program is extremely welcoming and people friendly. Would highly recommend for anyone who wants to learn from the sermon. Worship music is good too!

Great place, with warm people. My family has been going to Chapel Hill for more than 20 years. It's changed a lot over the years, but we still love it. If you're looking for sound Biblical teaching in a church with an outward focus that seeks to welcome seekers, Chapel Hill is for you.

Vibrant children's ministry, active middle school and high school ministries prepare your kids for the rigors of living in this fallen world.

Missions is a continual focus, locally and abroad. I had the privilege of going on an apologetics (the reasoned defense of the Christian faith) mission trip with a crew from CHPC and other local churches.

This church has been such a blessing to me and my family.I started attending in 1990, joined in 1991. Pastor Mark married me (and my ex-husband) and baptized our son. I am grateful for the support and encouragement! I will enjoy being a part of Chapel Hill again now that I have moved back to Gig Harbor, and the focus on Beyond these Walls is brilliant.

Chapel Hill friends are family. They have walked alongside me throughout the death of my first husband, Torrey Wickman, and the marriage to my current husband David Lukens. Chapel Hill continues to be the place I serve Jesus, make and mentor disciples, and just love on people! Come join us Sunday Mornings. If you want a friend-we go to 9:30 service and sit in the second pew on the right! I would love to welcome you into the family!

Have had nothing but wonderful experiences each & everytime my family & I have walked through their doors. Our children have attended a summer camp & have participated in The Upward program. Every program is organized, well staffed & the love for Jesus shines through. I have witnessed a variety of children from all social backgrounds welcomed, treated warmly & with open arms.

I have been going to this church my whole life, no joke. And they have been so welcoming and nice! Great services, they give you little panflits so you know what's going on, and they have great Sunday schools for preschoolers, grades k-5, middle school students, and the only one I haven't been to yet is the high school group, since I'm too young. Anyway, in conclusion, it's one great church!

My husband and I love the encouragement and truth that we get every Sunday in the service, and our kids love the kid programs- they're learning a lot. Thanks Chapel Hill!

We actually attend a different church in GH, but my middle school aged kids love the EXTREME youth group on Wednesday nights. Great leaders, lots of fun, and deep content in small groups. Great D-Now retreat, too. My review, though, is mostly for the office staff. My daughter left her backpack there last night and when I called this morning to see if I could go look for it, the lady I spoke with happily volunteered to go find it for me. It's a huge church and she was so willing to go searching for a forgetful 13 year old's backpack??? That's worth 5 stars to me! Thanks, CHP, for a consistently great experience for my kids and employees with kind, helpful hearts.

I have lived my entire life going to this church and I love it to death! it is amazing there is no way that i would want to go someplace different the praise team is unbelievable, they are like none other. the pastor has amazing speeches I would do anything for that church.

A heightened experience with Jesus Christ. Bible based teaching. Powerful music ministry, missions ministry, youth and adult education. Marvelous campus, and a real boon to the community. I found His love all over this place.

Biblically sound teaching from a Christ-centered teacher. Pastor Mark and the entire pastoral team does an excellent job of communicating Biblical principals in practical down to earth language. I highly recommend this congregation.

New to Gig Harbor. We visited there last Sunday and received warm welcome. They had a guest welcoming after the service and we met with Pastor and Associate Pastors.

We had the distinct pleasure of visiting Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church in Gig Harbor today, on Pentecost Sunday. The large congregation had a warn and inviting small Church feeling...
