They have shoe reps visit them and teach them all about their stock, what’s coming next year, what is discontinued, why certain shoes work for various purposes. I was so happy to get the kind of customer service that Route 16 provides. He diagnosed my gait, pointing out how one foot pronated and found the perfect shoe to address my particular issues. My HOKA shoes are so comfortable! He also ordered a pair of black leather HOKAS that I can wear at work. I highly recommend them.

They are the best! I've been coming here for years. So many shoes, feet are SOOO important to take care of properly! All the staff are so knowledgeable and helpful in whatever your foot issue might be, or just getting you the right supportive shoe for the exercise that you do.

These folks know their stuff. They took the time to listen to my foot issues, analyze my gate. Zeroed in on the right type of shoes for me in several brands so I could compare the subtleties, found me some insoles for my old shoes, too. Really good shop!

Staff was super helpful and knowledgeable. Prices were totally reasonable and the same as shopping online at some soulless corporation.

I've only gotten into running recently so the last time I bought shoes I did some research but ultimately just guessed. I came here and they measured my feet and ended up giving me a different size than I've been wearing in a shoe that's better for my gait.

I was a little "eh" about going to a running specific store because I am not an athlete and sometimes those kinda spaces can be a little intense and condescending.
But they were super friendly and low pressure and great.

Cannot recommend them enough. Don't just buy whatever's on sale on Jeff's website. Go to a store with actual human beings who know what they're talking about and want to help you.

Absolutely amazing experience, staff was kind and knowledgeable and didn't try to upsell any merchandise. Instead of trying to sell me new shoes they worked with the shoes i already own to help correct some foot issues. I will absolutely return to buy new shoes/socks when the time comes. I was recommended this store by my podiatrist. He recommended a particular insert for my metatarsalgia. They had the inserts and the friendly staff fitted them to my boots for me. The inserts did their job, in fact they outlasted my boots! So, better late than never. Thanks for your help and for having the product I needed for a successful 780 km trek on the Camino de Santiago.

We took my little brother here to buy shoes for his first time joining cross country, not only did we buy him shoes after they found the best fit for him but Miguel gave us a lot of valuable information about the sport and a lot of motivation for my little brother. Miguel gave my little brother a very meaningful and motivating gift to get started, I have never seen him so excited for XC!
