Vassault Park

Fantastic neighborhood gem, with tons of parking, fenced tennis and basketball courts, well maintained baseball diamonds, a small-but-super-clean playground and nice picnic hills on several corners with views of the whole park. And since it's right by a Walgreens, you don't have to plan your picnic ahead of time. Just stop in for some snacks and drinks before heading to the park.

Its a wonderful place to just sit and relax and watch the view. Also great for birthday parties and being in the sun with not to many people to bother you depending on the day you go. Oh and a great place to walk if your interested in that to burn of the calories or whatever you ate. And the playground is to die for. It's so much fun in one park!!! It's definitely gotten much cleaner and safe as well from the years ago I went. Definitely should visit😍😇😌😄

Great park. Plenty of parking. Baseball fields, playground, basketball courts. A track to walk places for a picnic.. super great.

This is one of the best parks that I have been to. There is a lot of open space for whatever sport you are playing as well as two tennis courts, a playground structure, two baseball diamonds and a basketball court. It also has a bathroom that is relatively well maintained.

Great park. Has a playground, a huge field, and a baseball field. There are also public restrooms at this park. I think they should add a splash park to this one.

It's a nice park area with a tennis court and basketball court. My husband and I used the tennis courts recently, and we'll definitely be making it a weekly activity to go here to play.

Very nice and peaceful good walking track, I enjoyed visiting my daughter and walking the dog.

Our new favorite little park. Close to home and great play areas, swings, plenty of fields and a great track to run/walk.

Great park. We did a GORUCK Star Course out of this park. Most importantly the bathrooms were clean and well taken care of! Plenty of space and trees to hang out and have a nice time!

lots of area to play a track around the field did notice a few dogs that were unleashed owner was near but still not on a leash. and lots of parking and bathrooms seemed to be kept clean and regularly maintained. great park to spend a few hours, basket ball hoops grassy field and some small slopes, swings and playground for the little kids too.

A popular park just off of Pearl in the North End. Vassalt hosts many soccer and baseball games for youth... but it also has a nice, standard playground, 2 tennis courts, picnic benches and a large field where people often play with their dogs. Ample parking.

This has always been one of the best parks in the north end. The refresh a few years ago updated the baseball fields, refreshed and relocated the restrooms, and updated the playground. All these changes were improvements on an already fantastic park. The basketball court is functional and there's usually a hoop open. The tennis courts are pretty much in constant usage. Soccer and baseball are pretty much mainstays throughout the applicable seasons. The grass fields are large and we often launch model rockets when the park is a bit more empty. Last but not least it's one of the few, or possibly the only park where you can park your vehicle and not have to worry about coming back to a broken window and your personal belongings missing. Yes, that's a dig at Point Refinance. Overall, Vassault is a great park with options for the whole family. Please pickup after your dogs if you bring them along.

Such a great and diverse park. Been comin here since i was born. The hills are great for sledding in the winter. Has a tennis court and basketball court , a playground and swings. Lots of space too with 2 diamond fields for baseball. And there's a gravel trail around the diamond fields to walk laps on. Dog friendly as long as you pick up after them. So much room for activities.

A nice place for walking (even walking your dog). It’s always enjoyable watching the kids practice soccer, baseball, and basketball at the facilities. It’s has a nice big grassy area covering all the park. Very pleasant during the nice weather

This is a great park year-round. The grass is always green and well taken care of. Kids swings and BigToy playground is always clean and plenty visibility so parents could keep an eye on their kids when they play. There are 2 unisex restrooms, plenty of parking, basketball courts, soccer field, track & picnic tables.
P. S. A little fact about this park that locals know... In the winter time, when(if) it snows, this is a great place to bring your sleds, etc since half the park is on a slope/hill.
