I have been working with Tony’s branch since I moved out to Cali back in 2018. He is wonderful and attentive, very easygoing and helps you resolve any glitches in the system.

Tony Watson is an awesome agent who is very knowledgeable, and won't hesitate to assist you with any issues. I would certainly recommend anyone looking for insurance to give him an opportunity.

Tony is borderline impossible to get a hold of. I was a customer for many years and this was my experience for most of that. At one point I had to drive down to the office unannounced to get any response.

In late 2023 Tony started charging half of the policy upfront at the beginning of the payment cycle which is very inconvenient

In 2024 my rate was raised 30% even though I had no coverage changes and no violations or accidents. I'm trying to get clarity on this price increase, I called repeatedly and was never called back. I then called repeatedly to try and cancel my policies and was never called back . As they won't let you cancel without talking to someone , essentially they had me trapped. I ended up going through Allstate corporate in order to get all my policies canceled. This has left a very sour taste in my mouth about my business dealings with this local branch of the company. I'd hate to think what a policy holder would be met with if they actually had an issue such as an accident and tried to get Tony on the line ...

FYI you can't post your comments unless you give a 1 star rating. I do NOT give him a 1 star rating. I give Tony and his employees at his St. Helena office a rating of 0/5 stars. If it were possible, I would give a negative 5 star rating.
Tony's employees at his St. Helena office do not know the rules of their own insurance company regarding insuring a teenage driver with a learner's permit. You do not have to have extra insurance to cover a teenage driver with a learner's permit. The driver is covered under your current insurance and does not need to be added until he/she has a driver's license. Unfortunately, Tammy did not communicate this information with my husband when he called to ask what was required for insurance when a teenager has a learner's permit. We expected our insurance company to provide us with accurate information. Then I spoke with Jeff on the phone and in person at the office regarding the situation. I said we have friends who do not have to pay for extra insurance when their teenager has a learner's permit, only when the teenager gets a driver's license. Jeff insisted that he had never heard of a such a situation. Unfortunately, I paid the premium which was almost $1000, instead of the roughly $200 we should been charged. After we paid, they then finally called the underwriter and realized we were correct. Tony would not give me the number for the corporate Allstate office to report the incident. Tony assured me we would get a refund for overpaying our premium. The refund never came. I was eventually able to get the number for the Allstate corporate office by calling off hours and speaking to a different Allstate representative. According to Gayle at the corporate office, our payment went to the entire premium rather than the monthly premium and we weren't going to get a refund. However, she looked into the situation and called me back and we will eventually get a refund. She spoke to Tony Watson who lied and told her we insisted that we wanted to pay extra insurance for our son despite our multiple attempts to question why they were charging us for him. They never told us that it wasn't necessary to insure him. Tony and his employees are incompetent and should not be in the insurance business. I would not trust anything they tell you. Go somewhere else for your insurance.
