Pizzeria Tra Vigne

Amazing food, finally a restaurant that nailed marinara sauce, the pizza was crunchy and moist excellent taste . Rigatoni pasta was al dente , I’m not kidding many restaurants over cook pasta TraVigne nailed it simply amazing. Mozzarella is freshly made. I order the red blend wine they offered and it did not disappointed, had two glasses. Chicken panini was extremely delicious. To finish our meal we had tiramisu and ice cream with a shot of espresso . Our waiter was very nice.

I was only there for the famous mozzarella. It was a 10 out of 10. Would go there just for this again. Pizza looked awesome, but didn’t try it. I wanna point out the friendly service

First off, this place smells amazing. Like delicious food. Also, a full bar with great wine and cider and beer menu. We walked in and were seated immediately. Staff was very prompt and attentive. Relaxed vibe. Comfort food like pizza and pasta.

Came here for the freshly pulled mozzarella, it was sooo good, love the texture of it. We ordered the truffle fries, grilled asparagus, wings, Caesar salad, two large pizzas and a pasta. Everything was great. The portion of the salad was huge!!

We were actually headed somewhere else and came across this great spot. Beautiful location and atmosphere are very busy, but there's nothing to complain about. The food was amazing, I will definitely be going here next time family and friends come to visit because it's the spot for great food and drinks

This is mine and my family’s new favorite Italian restaurant, we tried the pasta and the pizza and they were all incredible. We also recommend getting their delicious mozzarella appetizer because they make it in-house, fresh daily and it’s so so delicious! The overall service was amazing and we even got to meet the owner Cynthia, who was so sweet and fun to talk to.
When you’re in St. Helena I highly recommend eating here!

I heard from a friend that this place made their own mozzarella so since I never tried freshly made mozzarella, I needed to come here and eat it! The restaurant had a classic looking, clean atmosphere. I really enjoyed the open kitchen and seeing the magic happening back there! Service was quick and everyone was friendly!

First thing we ate was the mozzarella, we wasted no time! They brought it out, sliced it, served it on toast and drizzled olive oil on top with seasonings. It was everything I wanted and more! So soft and creamy. It absorbed the black pepper and garlic flavors along with the olive oil. Just an absolutely divine piece of food!

Next were the meatballs and garlic rolls. The meatballs were well seasoned and covered in that wonderful mozzarella cheese. It was also sitting in a pool of marinara. Not sweet but tart and didn't take away from the meatball. The garlic rolls were a little tough for me but I loved that it was sitting in a pool of olive oil and seasonings!

We ordered two pizzas. The first was the black truffle pizza. I love truffles and this is packed with that truffle flavor! I enjoyed the amount of truffle oil they put on the pizza, so fragrant and delicious! The second pizza was a half and half: funghi and positano. Both pizzas were really good, I found the fried lemons on the positano to be especially refreshing and paired well with the shrimp! The funghi was a little underwhelming after having had the truffle pizza but by no means does it mean it didn't taste good!

We rounded off the hefty meal with some mocktails (Blood Orange NOgarita). It was bitter and sweet and a bit salty from the tajin. A great end to an amazing meal! I have to come back for that mozzarella! Really enjoyed my experience here!

Been coming here for years for their Positano pizza! Tried the fresh mozzarella tonight, it was excellent! Got the wings too, didn’t love the sauce but the wings flavor was good. Great service!

We had the truffle fries and fungi pizza. Both were delicious. One guest had a make your own pizza- vegan ingredients and vegan cheese. She said it was also delicious. Service was good and meals came out quickly.

Go for the Mozzarella. Then stay for pasta or pizza. Get yourself stuffed and then head outside for a game of Boccie Ball. Or just walk around St. Helena. It's worth the visit and your money. You won't find fresher Mozzarella anywhere. Promise

This place its nice, and it became our dinner spot after visiting Napa Valley wineries. We love the Mozzarella Cheese (handmade) breads and the Minestrone Soup it's amazing. Kids always enjoy their Pizzas they also have a bar with amazing drinks. Customer service was great!

I asked one of the local race car driver in town who races with the WOO'S. Where a good place for pizza was an he recommended this place. It was amazing, the food is wonderful. I highly recommend it. Thanks, Rico the recommendation. You have to try the fresh pulled mozzarella, it it awesome, highly recommended.

It's been a couple of years since we were here, but only because we lived out of state. So nice to see PTV still open and even better than before.
Menu has so many choices (so little time).
Exceptional Beet Salad and the Caprese Piadina is larger than life. Love the heirloom tomatoes.
Rebecca is a friendly, knowledgeable server. We love dining outdoors on the patio.

Been going here for nearly two decades now -- I left for college a few years ago and often find myself missing Tra Vigne. Lots of great food and many tasty vegetarian options! Can't wait to come back :)

We came for a late lunch and felt like something hearty after a few tastings, Pizzeria Tra Vigne was the perfect spot.
Nonna's spaghetti with meatballs was excellent, a simple tomato base with El dente pasta and flavorful meatballs reminiscent of a home cooked meal.
Pizza was Naples style with a thin crust, we tried the Ducati and classic Margherita, accompanied nicely with the smokey Wood fired Brussels.
I'd rank them in top 10 of Californian pizzerias, and I've tried a few... bonus that it's in the heart of wine country.

I still dream about the Positano pizza with sautéed rock shrimp, crescenza cheese, and fried lemons... Highly recommend. Honestly this is such a great pizza place, I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the area! highly recommend!

I had an awesome time with my family celebrating my 50th birthday. The food was tasty, the atmosphere was beautiful on the outside patio. Be sure to call in advance to reserve a specific table if you want the patio.

Think about it for just a second do a little wine tasting come back down the hill just to touch in the Saint Helena boom it’s there right there in front of you one of the finest pizza places I have ever been to. I would just call the pizza place down this is a wonderful restaurant and the staff is amazing sitting outside if you’re lucky enough It’s very special. We had a great pizza that featured onions chicken sausage and some veggies :-) but I must say the simple house salad was amazing I’m not really a salad guy but this balance of olive oil and vinegar and a couple of other little secret things with a little cheese sprinkled on it at room temperature Was amazing. Very special place but if you see me in line let me cut in front of you because I hate crowds :-) mid week is fantastic very easy-going

Stopped in on a recommendation from a Calistoga winery. We ordered a pizza, and it showed up in less than ten minutes. Servers were very attentive. I'd go there again.
