St Helena Bistro California cuisine

What a gem in a small town St.Helena north of Napa! We had the best salad (avocado salad, sounds “boring” but the baby salad and the dressing were perfect and they didn’t those cheap zero nutrition Romaine/water lettuce), with beautiful dish presentation. Chicken & steak fajitas was great too though they used the worthless lettuce salad on the salad and cheap fatty dressing - should be better for the price of that dish. Also the corn taco should be replaced with regular taco bread. Most friendly and attentive server n bus lady.

We were in downtown st helena and we found this Mexican Italian fusion restaurant.

That was perfect for our group of 4 adults and three kids.

Loved the gelato con churros, the classic burger, the chicken alfresco and the combo enchiladas

Went up to see Mike at the Harley place to show him the Spitfire propeller I got from Devonshire Dan, but his shop was closed so I decided to have lunch at the St Helena Bistro Man-O-Man was it good!

Great little place for apres tasting. Good reliable food. Not too expensive. Our go to in Napa.

A nice quiet little bistro amongst the bustling streets of St. Helena with friendly service. We stopped here for a light lunch after searching for a restaurant with reasonable prices since most places are quite spendy. The food was excellent as was the value.

Best lunch I've had in St.helena. (I grew up there and lived there until marriage). Food was fresh and well served. The service was outstanding and prices are reasonable. Churros are a must have. The owners are amazing very friendly they are the cooks also. Their pride of ownership is noticeable in their food and presentation. It is a small place but that doesn't take away from the experience and food quality for me it's actually better because service is more attentive.

We stopped here on the way back to the hotel at the end of the day. Really enjoyed the outdoor ambience and the service. Our server was amazing as was the food.

Amazing vegan food and options. They can assist in any of your food needs. The atmosphere was great service was amazing. A must eat.

They hit many of my personal wants in a restaurant: well-prepared food, reasonable prices, appetizing menu offerings, good service, and a touch of tasteful elegance with tablecloths, cloth napkins, and quality silverware. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outdoors. The bread had a delicate crust and thick slabs of fresh butter. We started with the chicken tortilla soup. It was fresh and flavorful, though slightly watery. I had the salmon and shrimp with tomatoes and mashed potatoes. The salmon had a delightful crisp surface while preserving its inner moistness. The shrimp tasted good. The potatoes had been mashed by hand, preserving some texture and chunks, which I enjoyed. The chef pays attention to details.

Most pleasant experience we had at this beautiful streetside bistro. Service and food were both excellent. We had a great time. We were there a bit earlier and the place was one third full, which might have made a difference.
Again, the young lady Zaira took care of us and made us feel special. We had a salad and the grilled artichokes to share among four, The ladies had the salmon, my friend and I had the stuffed pepper, we all enjoyed our meal and the beautiful scenery. I highly recommend this place for food and drinks for lunch or after hitting the wine trail. We were there 9/15/2016 - enjoy!

I wouldn't call their burgers comfort food but they are tremendously good. Please for the love of God have the lamb burger. You won't be sorry. Do note if you have 6 or more people there's an 18% gratuity. If you're just one person there's a bar that's almost never sat at though.

Amazing food and great service. Loved it. What amazing food. The steak is great the lamb is awesome. My wife is vegan and they created an option for her. I recommend everyone to go there and try. Loved it !!!

The food was excellent! The staff were friendly and accomodating. The churros and gelato dessert was just what you'd want to cap off a meal! Save room for it!

Took my family here and we loved it. The staff is very professional and the food menu was great especially the artichoke appetizer to start with.

Homemade lasagna, individually assembled (husband said it was the best he has ever had. I had the Chicken Piccata and OMG, so delicious and lemony. It came with brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes and I was in heaven. I had a glass of sauvignon blanc and it was amazing. I never write reviews, but as we were enjoying our meal, I told him I had to do it. We live in Sacramento, but I want to go back just to eat.
