Meadowood Napa Valley

Wow! What a great resort. I stayed here before the fire that hurt them badly and was pleased to see its still a unique and very luxurious stay. The service is above and beyond. Rooms have all amenities, including espresso machine, robes, slippers, free beer and wine, and a great fireplace. The forest around it all and the beautiful 3 pools are just great and make it so special.

The Meadowood Napa Reserve is one of the best places to stay in NAPA. The resort is expansive and has 3 pools and great restaurants, and their service is outstanding. To get to the rooms, there is a good amount of walking and climbing stairs. The resort can drive to rooms. However, if you have mobility issues, let them know in advance. Strongly recommend the Meadowood Reserve.

I get why this place is rated 5 stars. Having spent years in the hospitality business, the customer service here is BY FAR the best I’ve experienced during a getaway from the daily grind. Staff went above and beyond in ensuring my girlfriend and I enjoyed our first anniversary together. If you want to have a picturesque stay with a top notch, bespoke experience, this is the place to do it.

Great experience. Unfortunately due to the fires in 2020 we couldn’t see whole property / use all the amenities, definitely not their fault though!

Breakfast is great, asides from that only had a salad (which was good) so can’t judge.

Rooms are great, simple and up to the expected standard.

The only thing I recommend is that they let you know that on. Busy days ots reservation at the pool, and they need to lets their hotel guests know. Otherwise you won’t get front row spot.

Just delightful. The epitome of elegance. This was our honeymoon and we never get to travel to such fancy places - we’re so happy we chose Meadowood. Despite the fire impacting the property, they have done a perfect pivot to utilize the space they have to provide the best experience possible.

Thanks to Barbara and Sarah in the restaurant, Thina, Katlyn, and Erin in the spa, Andrea, Jennifer, and Bob at the front desk, and everyone else who greeted us with huge smiles throughout our stay. This was a place we’ll never forget. Just perfection.

I have always known about Meadowood for it's well known 3-star Michelin restaurant, but never knew much about the resort. I booked it spontaneously looking for a more upscale stay for my weekend napa trip and my expectations were completely exceeded!

The amenities were incredible, including 3 pools, tennis courts, bikes for rent, hiking trails, full gym and great spa. The staff, service, food and in-room touches were impeccable. I felt like I was transported to nostalgic childhood memories of being at camp again, except with everything being high quality.

Staying on the resort gave us no reason to explore anywhere else. In the future, we plan to stay for longer and benefit even more from all that the resort has to offer.

What a wonderful property! I spent three days on the property and as a solo traveler, it was the perfect place for me. The other guests were all friendly and lovely to mingle with at the pool and gym. The food at the pool side restaurant was sooo delicious. I had the eggs benny and tried a few of their specialty tequila and mezcal based drinks. The hiking trails through out the property provide an elevated view of the valley and an easily accessible spot to sweat out all the wine. I bed and comforts of the rooms are some of the best I have experiencing in my years of traveling. The staff really goes above and beyond to make your stay feel personalized. After a quick consult with Sarah, I was immediately plugged into a few different restaurant options despite the entire town being sold out that night. I guess its not what you know but who you know in Napa ... and Meadowood was able to pull some strings for me as my stay was last minute. Lastly, their tasting experiences are the best you can come by. With access to the many Harlan estates, you get to taste some of the best wines in the valley. Each Harlan property is jaw dropping and their staff also comes educated and passionate about wine. You can't help but love and appreciate the story behind wines. I cannot wait to return!

Everything about this meal exceeded my fiance and mines expectations. We didn't know what to expect going into this but we were both amazed. 16 courses of different textures, flavors and experiences kept us wanting more despite being so full. The staff were extremely friendly and informative, the bartender surprised me with my drink requests and the decor was so homey yet classy. Every small detail of the meal was thought of and handled perfectly, all the way from the greeting by the doorman to meeting the chef following the meal. Worth every cent and would suggest going if it is within your budget - not cheap but you get your money's worth.

The occasion was our anniversary. I felt, as always, my wife deserved something special. I made a reservation to stay a few days Meadowood Napa Valley. As we left Silverado Trail, we drove through vineyards and up a lane surrounded by forest to an entrance gate house where we were greeted by friendly staff confirming our visit. Upon leaving the gate house we continued to drive through vegetation and woods that removed you from the realities of everyday life. We followed the road to the reception area and were greeted by very friendly staff to help with luggage and parking. The check-in personnel were very polite and treated us like we were old friends coming back to Meadowood as returning guests (this was our first visit). We were escorted to our room which was perfect! The room was well appointed and included a fireplace well stocked with wood. The living area provided a feeling of coziness while at the same time was more than adequate. We had French doors opening up to a private patio overlooking the croquet area. Looking out over the expansive grounds, all we saw were these huge beautiful trees and vegetation offering the feeling of complete relaxation and privacy. We found it challenging to leave the property to spend time enjoying the local towns and scenery. The staff were very attentive without being invasive. During our stay, we were always being asked if there was anything that could be done for us and communicated in a manner of sincerity by all. There are memorable experiences and then there are experiences worth repeating, this is one of those times. We look forward to our return visit to Meadowood at Napa.

Upscale amenities, beautifully landscaped on a picturesque hillside. Staff was great and so was the pool! It’s a shame about the restaurant, as they had an amazing breakfast elixir to get your day going. Be sure to paddle Lake Hennessy and visit the Oxbow District.👍

Amazing dining experience. The service was attentful and very knowledgeable about what they were serving. The courses were well paced, and none of them too large. Worth noting that beforehand, we stopped by the bar. I recommend everyone do this. The cocktails are in another universe of delicious. Perfect balance, unique infusions and elixirs, great taste.

We could not have been more blown away by our experience at Meadowood. The property and accommodations are absolutely stunning, and the service exceeded our every expectation.

From the setting to the scenery, to the reception area, restaurant, amenities and the ROOM!, we were amazed at every turn. The attention to detail is second to none, and the courteousness of the staff was wonderful.

I have enjoyed The Restaurant at Meadowood many times and it never fails to impress! This time I also took a cooking class with Chef Danielle and it was an absolutely perfect experience - great learning, great food, great company, great fun! Everyone involved in my stay provided top-notch service; and having a fresh-laid wood fire in my room’s fireplace while admiring the lush green forest out my window and listening to the gentle rain was heavenly relaxation!

Absolutely the best place I have ever stayed! The service was on a whole new level. The room was perfect and inviting. Our spa experience was beyond perfect! The grounds were immaculate and gorgeous. We highly recommend you stay and explore Meadowood!

Lovely Saturday brunch for group of 8 at the Meadowood Grill. Lovely views, delicious food, attentive service, and overall welcoming experience. The staff were friendly and food was delivered quickly. Food was pricey, but what you would expect at a resort. Will return in the future to get the Restaurant at Meadowood!

Great food, great wines, great service. Went there for their 12 days of Christmas dinner. Things started with a free glass of Champaign, then a really cool kitchen tour where you get to go into the area and the staff even greets you. One nice holiday touch is that they had it 'snow' outside one of the windows. The pairings were great. Though, we did not have a consistent 1:1 or even 2:1 types of wine to a course. It was not always communicated that the current wine would be paired with this and the next x courses. However, the staff would always refill your glass. After dinner, we had a chance to sip some spiced rum that the guest chef brought with them, at a fireplace near the Christmas trees and enjoy out roasted chestnuts.

You come here for the experience the chef and staff want to present. You either like it or not but it would not be the gem in the region if it wasn't for the excellent service. Impeccable, professional and warm. It takes special people to make The Restaurant a place you want to come visit again and again. Lovely resurrected lodging managed with kind minds and gentle spirits. Beautiful setting. Living spaces reminiscent of Cavallo Point, better menu. 😉

Even though we were disappointed to have had rainy weather during our entire stay, we still thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The rooms are like individual cottages with their own wood burning fireplaces. The service from the staff was remarkable, and the spa was like nothing else we've experienced. Once in a lifetime getaway, highly recommend.

Ate at the bar which includes a three course meal. The food was incredible, with presentation that surpassed our experience at The French Laundry. Service was also friendly and courteous, although a bit slow at times. We didn't mind though as we enjoyed the ambiance at the bar and it drinks.
