We had Melissa do our son’s hair cut twice now she’s quick and precise which is perfect for a wiggly toddler. Definitely recommend her !

First time taking my 3yr old here. Booked with Christina a few hours beforehand, but they also accept walk-ins. We were in & out. My sons haircut came out great & Christina was very pleasant, great work, & quick. My son moved a bit because he was "steering the wheel lol but for the most part, he was calm.

My Son is non verbal and is scared of hair cuts. He is five and pretty strong. fights to get off chair and yells.
Sylvia is so patient and is willing to take on the challenge and always gets the job done. She is fast and does an awesome job. I really appreciate that she is understanding in these situations. Really makes us feel understood.

Came in for the first time to cut my 11 month olds hair for his first birthday Photoshoot. He has extremely long hair that grows rapidly so we’ve been trimming at home. I debated whether taking him in because he would cry and scream at home. When I tell you he did NOT CRY at all. I was amazed. Melissa was amazing will be coming back to her! Also, the haircut took about 10 minutes we were in and out on a Sunday morning!

Our son is autistic and recently has not liked getting his haircut. We tried cutting it at home but as you can imagine, it didn’t turn out too well. We took him last in August 2023 and I was embarrassed because he was SCREAMING. We took him back today because his hair was a mess. We had Melissa Thompson. He had a hard time. Didn’t wear the cape, busted out of the seat, kept standing up and of course, screaming and crying. Melissa was so quick but also so patient! We didn’t once feel like she was frustrated. I don’t think she understands how much that means to us as an autism family. Thank you Melissa!

This was my 2nd time here, and we love it. Staff is really friendly, fast , and professional. My son is 2, and we were in and out in 15 minutes. Thank you Sylvia! 🫶

This place rocks! Especially for a first time haircut... Our little guy was happy to be there. He thought he was there to play & the lollipop... It was so colorful jungle deco. With different fun car, trucks, plane. To place your kids on for the cutting. A small tv in front of each station. When they were done he didn't want to leave. Thank you Nikki for making this a memorable moment for all of us.

Monkey Dooz is the place to go for your child's hair cut. They do such an amazing job. We're not particular with who cuts our boys hair because they all are so wonderful and do a great job. We've been going here for almost 6 years now. The owners are great and very nice as well. Everyone is very friendly and they make the experience for everyone joyful! First hair cuts are a must here. They give you a certificate and save a piece of their hair in a small baggy. At least they did 6 years ago when I got my youngest son's first haircut. For the younger kids they get to choose what they want to sit it, airplane, car, truck, etc. Really neat, and they have small tv screens for the little ones to watch and help distract them from what seems to be a scary experience for some. They also have some toys available for the kids to play with while waiting. Very clean and inviting atmosphere. The only place I take my boys and my husband has even gotten his hair cut here a few times.

For the last 3 yrs we've taken our grandson to Monkey Dooz for his haircuts. Each time the service was excellent and we've NEVER left dissatisfied. Prices are great too!

Recommend this location for anyone with young children. The stylists/barbers here are supposed to have extra patience for children (some have more than others). They do a good job quickly, before kids start getting too annoyed. I first came in when my son was 6 months old and still come in now that he is going on 6 years. My 4 year old daughter and 1 1/2 year old come in here as well. Never a bad experience.

They did an amazing job. Even though we didn't have an appointment they were able to fit my 2 boys in a spot where an appointment didn't show up. My 3 yr old was freaking out and the hair stylist kept calm and reassured him he was okay and was able to give him a good hair cut. My 1.5 yr old was a champ and loved the airplane seat. Love this place!

Amazing service , great place to bring first time kids getting hair cuts. Lost of toys and videos to keep them occupied .

First visit today with my two and a half year old son! I will forever be coming to Monkey Dooz! Charlene was our stylist and she did an amazing job ! Her calm demeanor and gentleness was so appreciated ! She took her time and made sure not to cut too much off, checking before cutting! My child has never had a haircut that didn't end in tears and this was SUCH a success! Charlene let him chose what car he wanted to sit in and gave him a lollipop. He was so fascinated by the jungle decor, car and cartoons he hardly noticed that she was cutting his hair ! I highly recommend this place for anyone with kids! 5 stars ! Thank you Charlene !

We always take my daughter here and they are great. We usually get Tara and she's amazing. She always works with the daughter to try and make her comfortable and not afraid. This time she showed extra patience as we had to leave and return and she did everything she could to make sure it was a great experience still.

We have been taking our son to get his hair cuts for many years now and it has always been a fun experience. Christina cuts my son's hair and she is awesome. For shorter wait times make sure to make an appointment ahead of time as it is located inside the mall so walk ins are plentiful and will have to wait longer.

Two of our daughters, 1 1/2 and 3 1/2 years old, got their haircut right before an important event late last year. They sat still and enjoyed the videos while getting their hair cut. The hairstylist was great with the kids and did a great job on their hair! The interior of the salon is fantastic. We'll be back.

We've been here probably 4 or 5 times over the last 5 years. I dont have a single complaint! The staff was always nice, the cuts were always great and my kids were comfortable and happy. They love coming and getting the princess hair treatment!
