Van Buren Drive-In Theatre and Swap Meet

We had so much fun! They have a snack bar with great food options. And the prices for food was actually not crazy overpriced either. Everyone working was so polite and patient. I suggest getting here early because we got here an hour before the movie started and there were already a good amount of people in line. I think the one hour was a perfect amount of time to be sure you get good spot and to order food before it gets really busy. All in all 10/10. We absolutely will be going back.

Update: well I'm sad to say this because I thoroughly enjoyed our last experience and decided to come back like I said I would.... well this time was awful... I read reviews on screen 2 and come to find out myself the reviews are true!!! Saw The Little Mermaid on opening night with the kiddos and couldn't hear half the movie! Such a disappointment for all of us.

Update 2: we ended up going back bcus the kids really wanted to and the movie was screen 2 again go figure... well I'm pleasantly surprised it was fine! My hypothesis is that if it's slightly windy that's what messes up the screen. Which is understandable

If we plan on going be sure to see what screen you'll be watching on. Screen 2 is a no go!! But screen 3 was great. I haven't used screen 1 yet. Will update if I do

The drive-in is super easy to get to, find a spot, and get setup. The radio station was nice and crystal clear for the audio. I really enjoyed it with my kids in the back of the car and had a double feature.

I love the drive-in theater as a family outing during the warmer months. It is the most affordable outing these days, and we enjoy it. I've been going since I was a kid, and now I take my own kids. They keep the restrooms and area clean. There was constantly an employee out cleaning when we last went. There is a snack bar available, but we also bring our own pizza. FYI, Dominoes is right next door.

LOVE THIS PLACE! You get 2 movies for $10 per person. It’s such a great deal. You are able to bring in your own food and snacks. Overall a great experience and a great deal.

Side note on the food court: the churros are not good. They might smell delicious but they are a hard pass.

As I worked here back in 1980 . Technology is replaced speakers with wireless settings pretty cool. The biggest thing I noticed was the variety of food. Great upgrade and it’s very clean.

This was my first ever drive-in movie experience and it was super fun! You can watch two movies back to back on one screen at a very good price. Glad Riverside has this!

I enjoy coming to the swap meet. It's a clean and safe environment. The vendors and people are polite and friendly and the prices are sensational. On Sundays there's pony rides for the kids and live entertainment by a young aspiring guitarist.

Been going to this place for more than 20 years. Love it, found it by accident, and never regretted it, I was single when I found it now married and children. My kids don't know any other theater, rain or shine we are there

Wish I would have sold more but it wasn't their fault. Crepe place awesome pipe price if you wanted spot to get rid of stuff.

Always love coming here, for the drive in movies. 2 movies for the price of one. You can't beat that. And the snack bar, they have tacos. Seriously what more can you ask for. OH yeah a Large popcorn & 2 Large drinks for $8 and some change. Um yeah thats unheard of. Super reasonable & affordable prices, fun to come during the summer months with blankets and pillows in the back of the truck.
Only down fall, the traffic trying to get out. It's a wait but once it starts moving you are out of there pretty fast. But seriously so fun & worth every penny.

Always a great family night. We come early to tailgate and set up our area. We always say we're going to stay for the second movie but have yet to make it through. Drive ins are so nostalgic and Van Buren is only one we do to nowadays.

Another thing I thought was super cool...the play area that's gated off right in front of the screen. Kids were playing. Dads were throwing the football to their kids. It was nice to see.

On a hot August night the Icee was a welcome treat.

Great experience! When I was a kid, I always enjoyed the drive-in and I am so glad that Van Buren is still in operation. Movies look great, snack bar has a good selection and friendly service. The audio, well that depends on your car sound system and hopefully your car battery doesn't die, hahaha. If in doubt, take a radio with batteries. The drive-in is an overall great experience that everyone nowadays should go out and enjoy.

It's always a good time here with the hubby for a date night. I've been coming to this drive-in for many years, never disappointed.

The kids have a great time watching new movie releases. Get there early if your trying to beat people in. They open an hour or so before showtime. It’s cheaper than going to the movies and bathrooms are clean.

I went on Halloween and saw 2 scary movies for a great price and will go back to see more movies again

Haven't been in like 10 years, but had a blast food from concessions was good, service was fast, and bathrooms were clean!! The people who leave their trash all over are the problem. Went on a Saturday night and while busy was a mellow night. Great date night.
