Lake Perris State Recreation Area

Nice place to camp. Configuration is diferent than other campgrounds. No black tank conection, only gray tank discharge. There is a dump station .

Really enjoyed our Labor Day Weekend here.

Great Lake, I was pleasantly surprised by how big it was. Their are many lifeguards at the beach area and wasn’t to packed on a summer weekend. Parking area was great, big lots and not a far walk to the beach areas. There are bathrooms, grassy areas, covered benches where you can have parties and the parking for our car was $20. This was the cleanest lake I’ve been to, the water didn’t smell funny and there was even shells in the sand which my kids had fun finding. Water wasn’t freezing & was pretty warm. We got there around 12:00 and there was no long lines to get in like another lake we tried to get into. The whole family loves our time here and we look forward to visit again.

Nice camps, for overnight, and small-big groups. Lake with small swimming beaches. Good hikes to the mountain top with fantastic views.

Oh my gosh!!! It was amazing! We had such a beautiful camping spot, and the lake was absolutely amazing as well. We took out our Avon inflatable boat and went to Alesandro Island. The kids loved it. Truly an amazing place to visit and camp. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, even when I left my wallet at home with my credit cards to pay! 😆 They let me drive home to get it while my family set up camp.

This place was great. Great location. Plenty of space and parking for each lot. Also habe electricity and water for a bit extra , so worth it. I went with family. Bathrooms were clean for showers 🚿 👌 as well and security as well. Definitely will come back for more family trips.

Excited to have this little gem so close to home. It's what you would expect from a camp site, no frills, however that is all I need. A great lake that was warm, barbecues, benches, and bathrooms, all I need!

A lot to do there you get a lot of hiking riding biking fishing and rock climbing on the other side

Great place to vacation. The rangers are always checking through, there is much to do there, ride your bikes, hike, boating, and even a museum.

Same same but different concert carnival was the bomb. Awesome, music loved every minute, camping and partying.

A great place to come and exercise. There are hiking trails and paved routes surrounding the lake with stunning views of the mountains. There are hiking trails for all ability levels and paths of varying distances so you can exercise accordingly!!!

It’s a lot nicer than it used to be to be, I went for the fair they are having and had a blast with the family tons of food and games it was a good time

It's one of the best places to cool off in the summer.

Fishing; fishing license is require.
Jet ski and boating
Kayaking, paddleboards, etc.
Picnics Tables
Cycling, I believe the bike trail covers the entire lake and there is a section for mountain biking.
Museum
Plus, many more.

Certain areas is dry while other are green.

Very clean, make sure to bring life jackets for everyone if your planning to use your inner tubs or for any floating devices also there’s life guards too, bring canopy’s and camping chairs internet was ok I have att no Wi-Fi but we made the best out if it thank u

Beautiful lake! Water super clear! Only 1 1/2 hours from San Diego! Clean bathrooms and free warm showers. Beach area is really nice. Security is always patrolling, which is good. Will definitely bring the family back. Loved this place!!!

Was so nice, and after the rain, it washed everything down.

Beautiful place for a bike ride around the lake run around the lake or just a relaxing afternoon by the shore. Spring is great, not very busy. $10 park entrance fee.

Quiet cove with picnic tables and restrooms. Children playing in the shallows nearby.

Lake perris is a beautiful lake! Came here with my friends and we had an amazing time! We did see a baby rattle snake that got us shook but it was away from our camp. As long as you’re away from it they won’t come near you. They have signs up everywhere warning about the snakes. So please be careful and wear sandals and have a flashlight with you when you are walking at night. Great Lake with great views. Perfect for friends and family trips.

Spartan run there was awesome. Water, was cold. The day was beautiful.
