Columbia Gorge Inn

The town is beautifully tucked into the gorge and the staff here was nice and accommodating! We stayed an extra night and had car difficulties getting back for check out and they took care of it. The price is exactly what you get, which is a completely reasonable price point. Parking lot was clean, room was clean, communal grill out front if you buy some fresh salmon at the bridge 👌🏻 stay here, support locals, get out on a trail.

This was an excellent hotel. I love that we got to meet the owner personally and she took great care to be sure we got nicely checked into our room even late at night. The room was clean and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. I love that there is a nice sized fridge/freezer combo and an additional small fridge. There is also a microwave. This is helpful for those of us who try to travel on budget vacations and bring our food with us. The other added bonus is that there is a water filter machine in the lobby so we could fill our water bottles with fresh water. Yes, the hotel is older and it is a little quirky that the toilet and the shower stall are in the same room, but neither are a problem. The shower pressure was awesome ...much better than many other hotels. The closet was huge and was a great place to hang our towels out to dry and we set up the ironing board in it as an extra shelf for our various belongings. The location is great for us seeing the gorge area, Mount Hood, and Mount Saint Helens. We are also so glad that this was an affordable place. Clean, comfortable, and affordable we could not ask for anything more. We would definitely stay here again.

Owned by a very nice family. The solo king room has plenty of space, AC, direct TV, comfy bed & the front desk will do your laundry if you ask nicely. Plus, it's the cheapest price in town.

The bathrooms are a bit odd if you aren't familiar with European or Asian hotels, but the toilet is next to the shower with just a curtain separating the two. So maybe not the sexiest bathroom, but otherwise, this place is great.

I’m a PCT hiker and thought this was a great place to stay. The staff was very kind and accommodating. The room was clean. Lots of channels on TV. The shower and toilet share a space but it wasn’t bothersome and kinda fun to try something different. You can’t really hear the trains at all which was great. I would definitely stay here again

The owner was super helpful and the location was prime. Had a great feel to it.

Room had ironing board but no iron. Didn’t need it but brought a smile to my face. I’m 120% positive she would have one if asked. :)

The staff is super accommodating and friendly. Prices are super reasonable and rooms are as pictured. Perfect for our family who spent the days hiking and just needed a comfortable place to sleep and shower. Would stay here again.

Nice place to stay in town! Right next to the post office and grocery store, everything is walkable. They are hiker-friendly for PCT hikers and currently offer a small discount for them. Would stay again.

Perfect Place for a Pit Stop. Super fair price for what you get. You can walk to the coolest places in town.

I am traveling for work & needed to rest omw to my meetings in Portland. I was able to get plenty of rest with an awesome check out time. Perfect for getting office work done before hitting the road.

We are PCT hikers staying this motel on Jul 13-15 2023. The owner was very friendly and provided excellent service. She even gave us a big chunk of smoke salmon which is delicious.

Its a nice little motel. We stay there every time we come to Columbia Gorge.
Rooms are clean. Owners are nice and helpful. Once we had to change the reservation at the last moment. The owner was very much willing to help, and didn't charge us any extras.
Highly recommend this place.

What a great surprise! The hotel is super basic but for the price the rooms were extremely clean and well kept. The beds were an A+ Front desk was friendly and very helpful. We will definitely be staying again! Thank you!

Ok... first off do not judge the outside appearance or the cheap price! My wife and I stayed in room 12 for 2 nights while we waited for our rv to be picked up and transported to Georgia. We were greeted at the front desk by Tammy and she was just AWESOME! She took care of us and we could not believe how nice the room was inside. The shower was THE BEST we have ever experienced anywhere! The other staff members were very very nice as well! Very quiet area and we heard no noise from any neighbors. If ever we come back to this area we WILL stay here again! Thank you again Tammy! This is the way all hotels should be ! The owner should be very proud of his staff!

Very nice, very clean. Very understanding in any short of emergency. Thank you. We were there for my granddaughter's graduation from Stevenson High School and we had to stay an extra night and you guys were the only ones to help us in an emergency thank you. Very reasonable prices.

Prices are the lowest in the area. The room was extremely clean with a fridge and a microwave which is a huge plus for us. The man at the front desk was super sweet to us and just had a good vibe. Not sure if he is the owner or manager but I told my fiance I would stay here again just because I appreciated the kindness. He let us check in early which I was extremely grateful for after a long drive and lack of sleep. It's not a fancy place by any means but it is nice, clean, affordable and has a friendly staff. What a lovely little Inn. The front desk is open until 11pm. The staff was very nice and the rates are affordable. A queen for one night was $108.00 and we didnt have a reservation. You can tell it's a local establishment trying to keep up with the big guy's( There are two other chain motels in the small town) . Some of the towels had holes in them and it could use some new paint. Other then that the rooms were nice and seem to be well kept. Would definitely come back again.

Room was fine for the money. It was clean and slept fine.

The staff is very accommodating, and the rooms are much nicer than they appear on the outside. It's been remodeled recently, and is a great deal given the prices in the area! The rooms even come with a basket of snacks and sparkling water, with no extra charges that most hotels have.

The rooms are remodeled and very nice at a great price. The lady Tammy working here was VERY nice and polite and we enjoyed our stay. They also have direct tv with tons of channels. I would highly recommend this place.

This hotel might look a little old, BUT I can't believe how nice, cozy, and spacious it is. It really surprised me! The night B4 we stayed in a 5star dump. This 2.5star kiss it's butt on service, niceness, and all the above. Thank u the Holcombs.
