Maya is amazing!!! She is super nice and is so good at waxing. She is fast and knows exactly what to do. She made my eyebrows look exactly how I wanted and I didn’t even have to explain it to her! Maya’s space was so clean, it smelled fresh and clean, but not sterile like a doctors office, which I loved. It made me feel like I was at a spa with the flowers and music. Maya was very professional but made me feel very comfortable. She was friendly, kind and made me laugh the entire time! She asked about your skin and used wax specifically that would benefit your skin type.
I would recommend her to anyone, especially someone going for a first time waxing!

O.M.G BEST WAX EVER! Maya is a perfectionists and is IMPRESSIVE in eyebrow shaping WOW! She’s earned my loyalty! I also loved the atmosphere Maya creates in her spa-like room which is notably super clean and relaxing with great selection of music (I think I snoozed a couple times)! Free Bird is located in a really trendy and posh woman owned barbershop so it’s a very pleasant vibe!

Maya is an exceptionally warm, professional, kind esthetician. As many reviews state, she is compassionate and understanding about the awkwardness of a veritable stranger accessing your nether regions, and she expertly creates an environment of comfortable, clean, and safe practices. I moved here from Miami and was delighted to find her, because there just aren’t a lot of options here, and I’d gotten used to at least a bimonthly service. Maya’s waxing is through, efficient, and genuinely less painful than several other estheticians I’ve gone to. She’s passionate about the health of the skin and hair, and offers reasonable recommendations without expecting or pressuring a sale. I’ve had to move my next appointment around a couple times, as well as adding more services, and she’s been nothing but accommodating and kind. Maya is a treasure, and she deserves all the business she gets. She’s an absolute expert, hands down.
