The Electric Theater is a beautifully restored theater that hosts different local events as plays. The stage had a high ceiling and I've seen amazing backgrounds and lighting for the different events I've attended. It has a small balcony and with a slight incline in the theater seating, there isn't a bad seat in the house. 😊

WOW-they have some stunning pieces in this gallery! From detailed Jerry Anderson bronze sculptures, to beautiful landscape photography. Classical oil paintings to contemporary art. Some fun and vibrant works of art, illustrations, pottery, jewelry, gourds, fiber art…quite a variety of work and price points. The space is beautiful and adjacent to the Electric Theater in a historic building. This is a coop gallery and the artist I spoke to was so friendly and helpful—I enjoyed hearing about his process and I even got to watch him paint.

The Electric Theatre art gallery was a delightful surprise to me. This was my first time there, and I had the joy of coming upon a professional painter and her art pupil at work in the front parlor. Then I enjoyed walking around the gallery exhibits, feeling all the different emotions and styles of each work of art, including pottery, photography, impressionistic painting, and abstract metal work. I loved it all. Much of it is for sale. Downstairs there is a dance studio, which is why I had come, but to get to pass through so much beauty and creativity on my way to a dance rehearsal was an unexpected treat.

Over the years this theater has seen a lot of makeovers. I have to say this is my favorite. It is a theater again and the meeting was fantastic. There is even a balcony. Truly enjoyed attending the Dry Bar Comedy Event

In town visiting my elderly mother, who asked I take her to see the matinee showing of Chicago. Was absolutely blown away by the quality of talent from this show! Have been traveling to St. George for years. We always attend shows at the Tuacahn, but this troupe was just as comparable talent-wise. What an absolute pleasure. The artists are mostly home grown talents, and the theater is an absolute gem. Do not sit upstairs though, the floor seating is best! The ONLY drawback is the city has zoned ZERO handicapped parking spots out front. We parked across the street and my mother almost took a header as the curbside is extremely sloped. Beware! The staff was very apologetic and compassionate, God bless all of you and bravo! Can't wait to come back this summer!

As a church, Calvary Chapel, we host Community Movie's here. It is a wonderful venue that the city has completely renovated. It holds several hundred people on the first floor and has a balcony for additional seating. The administrative and tech staff are really great to work with and very helpful. Truly a community venue!

The electric theater is a pleasant venue for a variety of events. I just visited, it was my first time back inside since they remodeled it a few years ago. I'm glad they remodeled it with a vintage vibe. The art room that is connected it houses some beautiful art, as well.

Beautiful building, restored from an era of elegance. I experienced a very heartfelt and touching film that spoke to my heart. If you value beautiful old things, take a trip to the Electric Theatre.

I just toured this building for the first time since I was a teen. I forgot how big and spacious it is. I am impressed with all that they house here - between the theater, the mini studios, the museum, all the classes and more there is a lot more to this place than meets the eye!

I've seen a couple shows and participated in a workshop at this theater. It's been nicely remodeled and kept. Perhaps the most interesting feature is the connected gallery, where you may look around during intermission or on its own during business hours.
Several companies utelize the performance space, and it is also available for rental. The Stage Door Theater company seems to be the primary company in residence here, which while overall very good has a few dubious features.

While residing in Utah, I considered seriously renting out this space for my own productions, and while I cannot say anything for their business practices (as I did not do business with them), I can definitely speak for the beauty of the space. Personally, I would not opt for microphone usage in the small space, but they definitely do support a broad range of sound options including multiple mics.

Overall, if you get the opportunity, I recommend visiting the theater and accompanying gallery.

A fun upbeat theatre including a showplace for several local artists. We saw Chicago which was so well done. Great energy and professional actors. A fun and entertaining day.

Been coming to St George my entire life and have now been living here 4 years and never knew about this little place until last week. My son's preschool rented it out for "graduation" (I know, preschool right?). Any who, I was impressed, mostly that despite it being a full house, this old building's AC keep me (a hot bodied person) comfortable.

Saint George has done an excellent job recreating this space. There was a ton of public outcry with the decision to renovate this building (and probably even to purchase it), but I see now why they wanted it. This will become more and more popular and host events of all kinds. It is a great location and has tons of area parking and things to do before and after.

Seats are more "big-boy friendly" than I would have thought for how old it is.

Sound carries well from the stage. It's easy to see over the rows in front of you.

Overall, a good experience.

Excellent theatre. Stage Smoke set off the fire alarm and staff was great to evacuate while waiting for the Fire Dept. Chicago was HOT. Hahaha!
