Classic hole in the wall vibe with huge menu and specialty burritos. Fries portion is ridiculously large. Great salsas, on the hot side. The fusion dishes are crazy good.. lumpia in burritos and longganisa on carne asada fries 🤤

Great food. My benchmark for every Mexican restaurant is Carne Asada Fries. The portions here are immense. I ate a meals worth and took the rest home, it was still 2 pound 5 ounces for the large. And for $18.30, it's a good value compared to other restaurants.

They have a salsa bar and complimentary chips. The habanero salsa, in my opinion, had no spice to it at all, even though it was their hot offering. The medium ranked salsa de arbol was far hotter, and a nice traditional hot salsa roja. I was hoping the jalapeño cream salsa would compare to Ramon's taco Shop, but it fell flat. Still good, but just a basic jalapeño puree.

Flavor wise the fries was very good. It's still second place to Casteñedas, but a very close second.

We got the nachos , cheese quesadilla and egg and cheese burrito and everything was BOMB! The quality is amazing,tortillas are soft, meat is seasoned nicely and the chips are thick. Great portion sizes, they are huge! The green and red hot sauce are both spicy but flavorful. Definitely going back!!

I ordered the Pac-Man Burrito as recommended by the cashier. The bacon is sweet but works really well with the carne asada.

Because the burritos are so massive, I split it with my spouse so in theory, we spent less than $10 a person.

The sauces were all very tasty. If you like a gradual spice you'll enjoy the spicy habanero sauce. But if you can't handle any spiciness, then just stick with the pico de gallo.

The establishment was clean and colorful with plenty of seating. I'll definitely come again and try something new.

Was visiting from Milwaukee, WI and couldn’t believe how huge these burritos were! Each one lasted my wife and I 3 days. Literally the best burrito I’ve had in my life.

Very good customer service. There was a wide selection and combinations of burrito items. The flavor fusion of Mexican and Asian goes very well together. The portion sizez are not exaggerated at all 1 burrito could feed 3 people and 1 large fries could feed atleast 5. Also very fresh.

Talk about bang for your buck! Huge menu, food was made quick, tasted great and it was all huge. The burrito was literally bigger than a newborn baby! It's definitely fast food, like is it the best Mexican food I've had? No, BUT it was decent, and the fact I'm getting 3 meals worth of fries for $14.99 means I'm not going to lose sleep over the fact that in theory I've had fancier Mexican food in my life

If your in the Mira Mesa area or fortunate to live or work therel...try Sayulitas Mexican. Exterior and interior clean, well cared for and welcoming atmosphere. Price point a reasonable range for quantity and delectable combos. Aroma and delicious food flavors enticing and left me wanting more. Good service and team work of staff A+ Good-sized portions. Tasty salsa on any yummy meal added bonus. Try them!

One of the last few best Mexican Restaurants. Food actually tastes cooked and the sauces are NOT watery like many other restaurants but thick and creamy (that’s how you know it’s good sauce). In fact I think you can even order sauces in bulk (I think they have 5 sauces). Carne Asada fries tastes crispy and great and meat tastes savory and not like boiled steak. I travel only to this Mexican restaurant if I want Mexican.

Decided to try this place after seeing the Wednesday special for their medium Volcano Tots. The place has an extensive menu and I was excited to try a different take on Mexican food. The medium size was huge and I couldn't even manage to finish half of the serving. The food was fresh had a great assortment of toppings on the potato tots. From what I can remember this included carnitas, onions, guacamole, cheese, bbq sauce and chipotle sauce. Although initially the bbq sauce sounded odd to include in this it added a wonderful sweetness not usually found in mexican dishes.

I'll definitely be heading back, the prices and portions are excellent.

My husband like their tacos. We have not tried much from menu but whenever we get tacos they never disappoint us. They have salsa cart. Ordered shrimp tacos. Really good. I have tried their fish and chicken too. Ambience is good.

Honestly. Just a really good place overall. The fries are so good. Just wish they had larger forks to eat them with. Highly recommended!

Great food, thorough staff, and large portions! We really enjoyed both visits to this restaurant and they have food our young kids like as well! They were able to customize my breakfast burrito to have beans instead of ham and they also made a small side of beans half rice and half beans for one of our kids.

as a native san diegan who gets bean and rice burritos 99% of the time, this is hands down my favorite place ever. burritos are huge, flavorful, and not overly expensive. salsas are good too. chili oil is bomb. my best friend loves the carne asada / adobada tacos.

This place has GIANT delicious burritos! They also customize to your dietary needs/limitations (I have significant allergies). We go here often. You can't go wrong. Yummy!

First time eating here as we stopped by after a bike ride. I ordered the Rosys fries? Carne asada fries with bacon , guac, sour cream and cheese and i added the lamb meat plus cilantro and onion. 💣.com. 🙂The medium sized order was a super generous portion. The lamb meat was very tasty. 😋This was a definetely one off order but it was insanely good. 2-3 people can eat from this beauty.last but not least the service was friendly. The salsas (red)were excellent with the warm tortilla chips by the counter 😍😳😬👊🔥👍 enjoy!

This place is tiny but the menu is big and the tastes are priceless. I paid 10 bucks for my lunch including fountain drink that I only finished half and saved the rest for dinner. I will post picture of the carne asada soft corn tacos combo I had. It was perfect. Plus there is a fresh salsa bar with fresh chips. Everything is freshly made. Authentic flavors.
I have had burritos and they are a foot long! They have a hot Cheetos fries thing on the menu I hear is good when I asked some teens sharing it. I found this place when going to Baby store and then the nail salon next door. I had rolled tacos with fresh guacamole that were crisp not chewy and stuffed with beef. I was amazed. I now go almost every time I get my nails done.
You will love the service too.
