The Grocery Outlet in Mira Mesa is the best one I've been to. It has a great selection of vegetarian and vegan food options for much less than chain grocery stores. Most items do change regularly, so if you see a deal you should grab it because it's not guaranteed to be there the next time you go. They have a good produce area and the store is always clean and being stocked. Items marked incredibly low tend to have dates close to expiration, so just make sure you can consume it before then.

Great prices and they also have hard to find products. Not to mention that they have Veterans parking. I thought that was pretty admirable. Definitely appreciate the little things. 😊👍🏿

Good variety of products at Grocery Outlet. The inventory changes constantly due to such a high volume of traffic. You can find everything from hair care, to ice cream even wine . No Deli though😭 But good organic meats most of the time

This store is well organized. there are many unique and interesting things to purchase not found in many other area stores. Good pricing and inventory. if you see it you should buy it, because of the stores variety and products carried. Strong value for the pricing. Highly recommend this store to be included in your everyday shopping needs

What a wonderful experience especially after having just visited Aldi where I was treated very poorly and yelled at several times by the cashier. Relatively speaking the prices are much lower here in the selection is at least twice as good! Sandeye was my cashier she was smiling and happy.. most of all, patient! I would highly recommend Grocery Outlet based on my experience here and at every other Grocery Outlet I've ever been to. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Grocery Outlet!

Really great store and friendly staff. The owner is a super nice guy. Really seems like a local business that cares about the community, and business model that will definitely spread. It's not a money hungry corporation. They actually limit the amount of each item that a person can buy, in order to make sure that there is enough for others. Highly recommend supporting businesses like this!

I really like the variety of specialized items and prices here. (Example: wide variety of imported cheeses.) The staff is excellent! There are always incredible deals. The store is always clean, and the atmosphere is decidedly happy. Such a nice change from many other markets! Glad this store came to this town.
Btw, I know this store donates to the food bank, and offers a military discount. Way to care for our community!!! 😗🇱🇷 Thanks guys!

Love shopping here! They always have fun, new products and their inventory is constantly changing but I like that aspect of shopping here because its a surprise. You never know what you're gonna find. They of course have all the essentials a grocer should have too! Finally, it's also a good place to find organic options as well as vegetarian and vegan foods.

Staff was super friendly. Many of the prices were 1/2 what they would be in a "regular" or higher end grocery or health food store. Part of the reason for the low prices is that many items are close to the "best use by" date, but I didn't find any that were past that date. The store was very clean and neat. That was my first visit and I'll be back for sure! :)

There is nothing not to love about this store! Wine, vitamins, tons of quality food and snacks! Makeup and all sorts of bathroom items! Good quality dog treats! Wine! (worth saying twice) And I have not met an employee that wasn't super nice and helpful. I make sure to come here first before any other store. I love it when there are unflavored seltzers... then I don't have to go to Vons!

We were lucky to find this place on the second day of our San Diego visit. They saved us SO much money!! I was staying at the Hyatt House where I had a kitchen. I was cooking for us, but also my son's family. Finding organic chicken and free range ground beef and local and import cheese was a bonus, but all the fruit and vegetables were also good value. Check out the isle with cookies and crackers too. I bought a 1 lb 7.55 oz box of Carr's crackers for $1.99. I also scored some walnut halves, as I just can't get them in Calgary. On their anniversary, orchids were 2 for $10, but they are also a good price there. Now, let's talk about the wine, which was leaving the store in cases. We were there on their second anniversary and bought bottles of French Rose for $1.99. You will pay between $3 and $7 for wine there. Needless to say, we didn't buy wine anywhere else and also, took wine home in our luggage. The owner, Treava, was also so gracious and kind to us. Just a great shop!

My absolute FAVORITE grocery store and I cook..A LOT! The name might give you the impression you're getting some cheap low-quality items, but the only thing cheap here is the price. The quality and selection of the products offered here is impressive especially for their N.O.S.H items. Unbeatable! They always have the basics, but if you're looking for very specific specialty items, you may not be able to find them here regularly as their offerings vary. But as someone who likes to play "chopped" in my kitchen , I enjoy going here and exploring what they have and creating new dishes at home , or dishes with a gourmet spin. They also have some very reasonably priced home items so that's a plus too . I've made it a habit to show off my awesome finds at this store and brag about the deals I got lol. This place really helps me stay within my grocery budget. Ill continue coming here over and over ! Also, they offer a small discount card for those in military, law enforcement , fire Dept., EMT. I hesitated to write such a glowing review because honestly I enjoy the smaller crowd Every time I go, but I suppose spreading the word on this place's awesomeness and keeping them in business is more important !:)

Edit: 12/2/18 as of last week, I was informed the military discount cards are no longer honored. Disappointing, but still definitely worth shopping here.

This grocery outlet is a gem for the Mira Mesa community. It's always stocked with good quality products, the place is clean and the staff are nice. The owners are even in the store stocking the shelves along with the other staff members so they really care about their store and the customer's experience.

I could have sworn I had left a review for this place but I guess not. Better late than never I guess!!

Located in the same shopping plaza as Target and right next to Menya Ultra, this grocery outlet is really nice and spacious inside. It's bright, clean, and easy to navigate. I love coming here to pick up cheese, beef jerky, and various snacks and bars for my kiddos.

They get in some of the most expensive products you'd find elsewhere for a fraction of the price. And a lot of the stuff they do carry is really good quality. My favorite part about coming here is that you can always find awesome Keto and low carb snacks, pastas, nut butters, sweeteners, and cheeses. They also carry some products that I normally can't get anywhere else except sometimes online, so that alone is pretty cool.

Also the family that owns this particular grocery outlet is super friendly and awesome. Treava, the owner is one of the sweetest people I've ever come across and I always look forward to seeing her when I go! She knows a lot of people by name, and always says hi to anyone and everyone. All the ladies and gentlemen, whether stock or cashiers are always very friendly as well.

Honestly I have nothing bad to say except that they do run out of things quickly, but that is no fault of their own, haha. They've made Mira Mesa better and continue to do so with everything they do! So go shop here and show them your support!

Great place to buy cheaper groceries. A lot of their produce is usually ripe already or even a little over ripe, and their processed foods often have expiration dates that are close so anytime I buy from here, I make sure to eat them right away. Staff is always nice and I've never had an issue shopping here.

Can't go wrong at Grocery outlet. They have a wide selection of fresh and organic food at great prices. I can get quest bars and protein powder as well. This location does not offer a discount card like other locations do(FYI). Easy access at end of mall behind Soup Plantation.
