My oil change experience was great! I just bought a used 2007 Mini and took it in for an oil change, even though the dealer said they had just changed it, but I wanted the car checked out by a Mini expert. The Mini mechanic checked out the car and gave me a report and video of what they found. (Which was pretty good, thank goodness!) They found a seal with a tiny oil leak due to the age of the car, which they said was not an emergency, I will get it fixed in the near future. The bushings could do with a future replacement too, but again, they said they were in good shape for a 2007 Mini with 90000 miles. Great lounge with coffee, hot chocolate, snacks, wifi and awesome people, what more can you ask for?

Cannot say enough good things about mini of SD and my service advisor, Anthony!!! What a Gem!

I went to MINI of SD for a second opinion after being dissatisfied with the service at MINI of Escondido and leaving in tears.

Anthony at San Diego made sure to make my experience with them a really, really great experience. He communicated effectively and listened to my concerns and answered all my questions kindly. He worked hard to make sure my cars vanos system was covered by going all the way up to mini Corporate.

And, I found a little surprise when I pulled out onto the road, a FULL gas tank!!!! Who does that?!?!?! YAY MINI OF SD⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The sales and service staff at MINI San Diego have been great to work with. They are direct and don’t try to play mind games. Service was quick and easy; I was in and out in no time for my recent tire rotation. Thanks Ian Perry and the rest of the team. I appreciate their straightforward attitude, value service cost, and quality work.

So far so good. My first experience at a mini dealer. Got helped quickly and was updated during the process. Ian was great and kept me informed on the needs and status of my mini. Prices was fair and service was great. Will be coming back for more services in the future.

I love my mini
The biggest issue is I live in Palm Springs
So getting my car serviced is an issue!
I have taken it to other mini garages and have felt I have been r Ripped off taking advantage of .. in fact, after my visit to San Diego, I realize that I have been taken advantage of by other dealers
I feel that in San Diego I’ve had the best service that I’ve had since I’ve owned the car which is four years. The people are nice and friendly and I feel that They are very honest and Anthony. My service advisor was the very best I wholeheartedly recommend. Mini dealership for any issues that One must have and if I decide to buy a new car I can assure you it will be from them

Lovely staff and efficient services! I appreciated receiving a video of work done on my car. Although it was difficult to hear the mechanic’s commentary over the sounds of the shop (not his fault since shops are always going to be loud), Melissa was helpful at acknowledging this and clarifying via text before I even had to ask.

The service center was very good about sending me reminders and my check in was fast. They didn’t try to oversell me on coverage of my new-to-me Mini the first time I brought it in for service. They were also helpful on getting me a ride to work and back to pick up my car because I underestimated how long the service would take. I wish I knew about them with my previous Mini!!

The technicians who inspect my vehicle for service are awesome. They take a video of the inspection area and point out exactly where the problem is located. Their explanation is clear and concise. They recommend what is urgent and what items can wait. Mini of San Diego Service Center has never steered me wrong. Awesome people to work with.

The customer service at Mini is amazing! We also have a Tesla and a Lexus and Mini BY FAR surpasses them in customer service and attention to detail. We were updated throughout the time our car was being worked on and they even went as far as offering to send an Uber to pick us up to take us back to the dealership if needed. This is our 3rd service here and we couldn't be happier!

MoSD helped me find the multiple sources of annoying and pervasive quiet sounds being made in my car. The sounds were the result of my driving habits for the most part. Along the way, they also found repairs that were needed and very important from a safety perspective. All-in-all, their diligence, expertise, and good communication made this service event, which extended over many days, completely tolerable. I also sincerely appreciate that I was able to use a loaner car that was very much like the car I had in for service. Thank you to Anthony Palomo for making sure I understood the process, was kept informed, and had plenty of opportunity to ask questions. Thank you to the Service Manager and his technicians for being very thorough in diagnosing the various issues that existed and contributed to the annoying sounds being produced. Problems solved!

I always visit Mini of San Diego to get my car serviced because they are the best. Their staffs are always very friendly and knowledgeable, and spend time to explain the status and recommended services and fixes that are done. They also send a video once the car is serviced to show how the car is fixed and where they see an issue which is super helpful to understand the issue of my car and decide what needs to be fixed. I Iove my mini and I have had my Mini for years now. I don’t understand why it didn’t occur to me to get my vehicle serviced at Mini of San Diego sooner (I guess I always thought it would be a wait to get my mini in for a service appointment) . When my 2011 mini starting having problems turning on and the check engine and fan came on, I quickly went online to find a specialty mini mechanic to service my vehicle as I didn’t want to return to my last mini specialty mechanic after a very bad experience. Mini made it simple to make an appointment online and drop off my vehicle same day. I left my mini over the weekend for service and the mini mechanic sent me videos of everything that needed work and show me exactly what was wrong and what went wrong on my mini with clear thorough explanation (thermostat housing, coolant pipes , strut mounts) and also explained everything that was still good. This allowed me to make an informed confident decision on what to get serviced and what the bill was going to be and decide whether I wanted to proceed or just think about getting a new vehicle. A far cry and difference from my last mechanic who would babble about what was wrong unclearly give me a price and when it came to pay the bill, found he added services i didn’t ask for or need, as I had previously gotten the job done on my mini elsewhere all while giving me a price more expensive than we had agreed upon. This time, I decided proceeding with the service would be best for me and Mini of SD even fixed an exterior light issue I had been trying to get fixed for years. There were no surprises when It came time to pay the bill, I knew exactly what was worked on and what still needs work. My Blue Mini is looking and running great again and im so happy to still be able to drive her and feel even more happy with straight forward respectful service I was provided.

The staff is friendly and the service is prompt. Bummer about the complimentary loaner vehicles and the vacuum/wash services being discontinued, though. It was easier to look at the service invoice when you had those amenities available to you.

The staff at the Kearny Mesa Mini Cooper are the absolute best. They provide honest and outstanding customer service! The parts and service department staff do great work and keep you informed. They also provide you with a video so you can see the work performed. This is unique from other service departments and I think this is top quality customer service! My service manager Autymn was so courteous professional and helpful. She made me feel like a valued customer and gave me personalized attention. This is why Kearny Mesa Mini Cooper is the only place I take my Mini Cooper for service and highly recommend them to friends and family.

I drive from Valley Center because my service manager is so good, it’s literally worth not going to the closer one to me. Ian Perry is always going above and beyond, whether it’s securing a loaner, getting answers quickly to questions I have, he makes sure to always surpass my expectations.

I was driving my Mini across the country east to west when the orange engine light came on. I called Ian at Mini in San Diego immediately, and he responded right away. Set up an appointment for me and gave me advice. Brought the car in the day I arrived and it was promptly fixed. I need a new windshield and they took care of that too, at the same time. I love Mini of San Diego.

Had a new problem and Ian once again got my Mini in promptly and made sure I had a loaner. I love Mini of San Diego! ❤
